E-mail attachments getting blocked

Postby wiggins » Sun Apr 18, 2004 12:15 pm

Hi guys,
does anyone know how to get your e-mail to stop blocking so many attachments? It even blocks attachments sent from my Dad's office e-mail to my family home e-mail address... Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to solve it? Thanks!
God bless you,
Wiggins

How are you reading your mail? Hotmail, Outlook, Eudora, Entourage, Pegasus, Apple Mail, Yahoo! Mail, ... ?

Is it possible your ISP is doing it? Some ISPs have settings that will prevent attachments it deems to be hazardous from being delivered. But then again, from what you said, I don't have enough information to figure if it's an Outlook setting or something to do with the ISP...

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

It does say that something removed it because it might be harmful... I think the something is called OE, but I'm not sure...

OE = Outlook Express. You might look at its attachment settings (fortunately, I don't use Outlook ^^ ).
