A favorite among my youth group is "Mighty to save"...I have another one but can't think of it...
"Who is this?" they said to Me
'That the wind and waves obey
Come, let's hang Him on a tree
That His reign should pass away'
But here I am I say to you
Though you turn away, it is My will
To love you for forevermore
Peace be still, peace be still

Of contemporary worship songs, my favorites are:

"Draw Me Close"

You're all I want
You're all I've ever needed
You're all I want
Help me know You are near

"Prince of Peace"

I will sing to
And worship
The King who
Is worthy
I will love and
Adore You
And I will bow down
Before You

"Blessed Be Your Name"

Blessed be Your name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name

And blessed be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be Your name

...I have many more hymns that I like, but that's another post....
You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.

"There's a difference between maliciously offending somebody - on purpose - and somebody being offended by...truth. If you're offended by the truth, that's your problem. I have no obligation to not offend you if I'm speaking the truth. The truth is supposed to offend you; that's how you know you don't got it."

There are too many of these that I can never remember until they come up in the song list at church, which irks me to no end, but I'll list what I can remember.

"In Christ Alone"
"How Deep the Father's Love For Us"
"Before the Throne of God Above"
"Arms of Love"
"Take Me In"

And all those others I unfortuantely can't recall right now.
