Not only is the plot deliciously dense and filled with tension, but now I can finally understand why everyone raves so much over L. Man, when I saw the first episode where they showed all of him, rather than just having him sit in the shadows talking, I liked him right away. There are dozens and dozens of quirky anime characters, but I don't think I've ever seen an anime character that was this fascinating. I also find his huge, empty black eyes a little freaky, and I feel sorry for him from time to time. Definitely a favorite character by now. And Light is every bit as interesting to watch.

Maokun: Ninjas or Pirates? (Vikings are not a valid answer, sorry)
EricTheFred: Vikings are always a valid answer.

I finished Trigun on Wednesday, and it was absolutely awesome and now one of my favourites. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in an anime before.Maokun (post: 1322475) wrote:You are in for a great ride. Hold on tight.
