@Impact: NOIR is pretty amazing and it is under rated. The animation is a little old looking considering when it was released and the story is slow- this is why many people dimiss it as even a remotly good anime. I'm glad someone else has seen and liked it =D

@Song of Storms: Glass Fleet is decent. I've seen the first 3-dvds of the dub (just sent them back the other day. I have Blockbuster online service) and it did not get too much better.

As far as what I'm watching (I've posted ANN links in case you don't know that an anime is about). I'm watching a lot of the spring 2009 anime... I'm sure I'll forget to put some of the ones I'm watching on this list. Oh well:
07-Ghost
Asura Cryin'
Basquash!
Eden of the East
Hatsukoi Limited
Hanasakeru Seishounen
K-ON!
Pandora Hearts
Ristorante Paradiso
Valkyrie Chronicles
Shangri-la

FMA: Brotherhood episode 10 :waah!: Wonderful episode.

I've also started watching Death Note; I watched the first episode last night. Finally, I'll be able to see what in the world everyone's always talking about! :P I've heard so many people talking about Light that it feels weird to reflect on how I've been introduced to his character now. It's obvious that this anime is going to be dark and a little weird (those shinigami things look wacko!), but towards the end of the episode I was really getting into it. Usually, when I feel the pull of an anime, it's because I really like the characters or really like the animation or something along those lines. This time, I just know I have to keep watching because I'm fascinated with what Light's going to do next.

...and my brother's giving me a running commentary on how close they're sticking to the manga

In the last few days, I finished watching Haibane Renmei. I think I left off at episode 4 when it was moving way too slowly for me, but I'm glad I finally finished it.

For now, I've given up on the Wedding Peach series. I skipped over to the OVA because I heard their attacks are better in the OVA, and I'm actually thinking that I like the OVA a lot more than the series.

Then again, I've only watched one episode of the OVA. We'll see if that keeps up. XD

Coolness! I'm interested in hearing another person's thoughts on it!

I'm watching "Negima!" Episode 24. I have to admit, I came into this anime thinking it was just another high school harem anime series with a typical magical hapless hero surrounded by beautiful girls with fanservice abound, and for the first couple of episodes, I was right. (and, for the first couple of episodes, Negi's voice was a little annoying...) But...once I really started getting into the story, I found myself really enjoying it. Seriously, I have NEVER teared up when watching an anime, but after watching episodes 23 and 24...man...

@ KBS- Well, the show was very interesting. I mean I wished the show was longer because you know they weren't able to fully finish the show. But I really did enjoy it, it had a nice balance between comedy and drama.
I would have liked to have seen more about Arima and his relatives who looked down on him(Not, the relatives that took him in though. They were nice.). The show was crazy at times! Yukino's Dad, Asaba, and Tsubasa all had moments in which I laughed at them and pitied them as well. I liked the little side stories in H&HC like with Tsubasa's dad marrying another woman. The drama in episodes 8-9 was quite a bit when everybody sees the real Yukino and give her the silent treatment. Well I would have loved to have seen Aya's play.
I think that's about it.

I'm giving Haruhi another shot...

And she's still completely evil... I mean, yeah, it's cool that Kyon can get her to smile, but that doesn't magically erase her sexual harassment and extortion. Really. Nor does it erase her epic selfishness... Last time, I only watched up until the
end of the world
ep (chronologically) and stopped at the baseball one because I felt the rest of the series Chronologically would just be filler, but I'm kind of glad I didn't do that this time. There is some interesting stuff after that. I'm a bit surprised that the DVDs I'm watching are Chronological, though... I didn't think they'd be that way on DVD.

Currently viewing Darker than Black [dub] (it's on hold for now though... >_<) and Black Blood Brothers (on ANN) dubbed

I really enjoy both of these series.. forewarning to BBB though, the dub contains quite a bit of language.. no f-bombs but everything else.
Status: Lurker.... but I'll be around.

Finished Ergo Proxy(In a grand total of five days), 'tis amazing. It makes you think, they teach you a lot about mythology/philosphy/etc. And it contains minimal swearing, maybe 10 in the entire series(or at least the subs I saw).

The DVD releases are chronological, only the first TV broadcast was out of order. The reason for this is obvious, the climax of the fourteen episodes is obviously The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi VI while Someday in the Rain is sort of a quiet and anti-climactic way to end the series.

Everything after Melancholy might seem like filler outside of the context of the light novels. This is one of the reasons they have to re-air the entire thing in the correct order, with new episodes put in where they're supposed to fit on the timeline. Details that might seem incidental in these episodes will definitely come back into play in this new season. If there's one thing the author is really good at, it's peppering all of these things around early on and using them in later volumes.

Not exactly an anime, but it might as well be one. I just finished playing Planetarian ~Chiisana Hoshi no Yume~ (planetarian 〜ちいさなほしのゆめ〜), a visual novel by Key, the creators of Air, Kanon, and Clannad. I guess ever since I started and finished Umineko, it's pushed me to finally take a look at some visual novels.

Planetarian takes place in the future, after human civilization has been ravaged by war for thirty years, leaving most of the earth desolate. The player character, only known as The Junker, finds himself in a planetarium with a robot girl, Hoshino Yumemi, who has continued to work there, during the wars and stuff.

It's pretty good and while I don't expect it to be animated, its length and story would make a pretty good OVA. It took maybe three to four hours to play through, which is tiny compared to an epic like Clannad. Also remember that this is a Key game, so there is happy, cute stuff and heart-wrenching, sad stuff.
