The Good and the Not So Great

First is the good. I hope to get baptized this summer, and my dad has announced that there will be a baptismal service where people can get baptized down in the river. That is something I really really really want to do, and I've been wanting to get baptized for a while now...this is the perfect chance for me. So, I'd like prayers for me to be able to get baptized, and that I'd know what to say when I share my testimony I'm actually getting really excited for this.

Now, the not so great. The schools where I live might be closed in the fall because of the swine flu, which has recently been killing people not very far...in the capital of my province, especially...so, I'd like prayers for the people making the decisions, and that they would know what decision would be right. Also, prayers for the families of those who have died to the swine flu (there was a pregnant woman and her baby that died ) and for the H1N1 flu in general not to kill any more people. I mean, as much as school can be a bother, it wouldn't be very cool to have it closed for something like this.

Also, been kinda stressed lately with all the stuff happening in the space of 1 or 2 weeks...so prayers that I'll be able to finish off the school year nicely would be appreciated.

Thanks, Garland ^^ And, yeah, I know it'll be a big step for me in my walk with God. Agh, I want school to be out already >.< I'm so stoked for everything that's happening with me this summer!

CONGRATS ON THE BAPTISM! Once you get it done you'll have to tell us about it considering its a declaration and all =) Hope everything goes well with school etc.

Thanks, and sure, I'll tell about it ^^ Since it's by the river rather than in the tank in our church, it's sure to be very fun, with a lot happening...this is all making me more pumped up for the summer ^^
