I listened to it about three times in a row to get a feel for it...Very different, but I like it quite a bit.

ughghaw;oeirjawe; omg its sooooooooooo freaking good!

although, there is something i miss about the older stuff. I miss the kinda... honesty "everything-isn't-okay-but-it's-okay" feel. you know what i mean?

XD I dunno, Savannah, I think you need to pay more attention to the lyrics. Did you catch the line about "When they swear their love is real/They mean 'I like the way you make me feel'"? That honesty isn't gone, but I think a lot of the sadness has been replaced by joy.

The lyrics on this album are so incredible. From Goodbye, I:

the tortoise in the wheelchair
wrapped his forehead in a bandage
with a cast they made from plaster
for his phony broken leg
so he'd get pushed around the sidewalk
by the zookeeper's assistant
with the hummingbird obeserving
from behind the yellow flower
and he flapped his tiny wings
they moved so fast you couldn't see them
with resentment for the tortoise
which was clear by his expression
but the tortoise turned and smiled
with a peacefulness which proved
that there's a movement in our stillness
and however much we move

we're bound to stand completely still

The whole song is just so good. GET HERE FASTER, PRE-ORDER.

I think that I need to pre-order this album. It's very good, different, but good.

http://myspace.com/mewithoutyou has yet another song up. This time, it's "the Fox, the Crow, and the Cookie".

Although myspace is not being nice to me right now. It seems that one of their music hosting servers is down, or something.

Yay! It's out and I love it. I like how it's different, but not a total change.

So my brother and I definitely bought the only two copies that were shipped to my Best Buy today. XD Anyways, having read through the lyric booklet once or twice now (work was dead ahahahaha XD), I LOVE this album. I think my favorite songs are "goodbye, I!" and "a Stick, a Carrot, and a String." Though there could be more. I need to listen to it several more times. XD

It's a good album.
It's tied as my least favorite with [A-->B] Life (no concluding their EP).

It's a great album and it's very unique.
It just lacks something the older stuff had.

I'll give it some more spins, but that's my view on it so far.

I love this album. It might be my new favorite mewithoutYou album. Gonna have to give it a month before I proclaim that as a certainty, though.

I think it needs to be given more time before we start ranking it since it's only been out since...you know, today. : )

I love it, though. It's so different that, to me, it feels really, really fresh. I'm glad they didn't try to retread old territory.

That is the most delightful music video I've ever seen. XD I LOVE it. I love the puppetry so much, especially the part on the "you rotten wooden mixing spoon, oh, you midnight-winged raccoon!" line. XD Amazing.

This music video was great, and really creative. I loved Aaron as the baker. XD

Pretty fun video. Though as far as puppets in music videos go, I still like He Is Legend's video for The Seduction a little better.
