Please pray for my dog.

One of our dogs, a miniature daschund/chihuahua mix, has slipped one of his disks and was brought in to the vet last night. Today, he is in severe pain and his hind legs are stiff, but I do not believe they are paralyzed. I just pray that God lays His healing hand upon him.

Remorse and Agony are repeated, only to end up at Despair in the end. But the sinners just don't know, that if they'd only turn around, there is a light there, a light which keeps shining on them ever so warmly. A light that will never fade." -- Vash the Stampede

UPDATE!

The dog, Duke, had to be brought into the emergency clinic in the Twin Cities (namely Saint Paul), which is a 4 hour drive south of where I am located. From there, he had to have surgery to remove the compressed disk. God definately took his pain away during the duration of the ride, but the surgery cost a whole lot.

In order to pay for the $4,000 surgery, my mom donated the money she was saving for a dental operation (we have no heath insurance), all the money we were going to live on this summer, and I am now flat broke as well. I have started a donation page for Duke, so please stop by there and donate if you can; any small amount will help us. At the very least, please comment and let us know that you're keeping us and him in your prayers and thoughts.

If you donate, please PM me and let me know. I'll try and find some way to thank you, and don't hesitate to ask me for help at any time in the future. Thanks a million!

Just came back from the cities and Duke is home! As far as we know, he's going to the bathroom on his own and he can wag his tail. He can also walk some, but we have orders to keep him confined in a tiny little kennel for a month and to restrict all his activity, save for during our rehab sessions. He's not too happy about that, and neither are we, but if it'll make him better then I'm all for it.

Pictures will be up soon! Thanks to everyone for their support.

Thanks for all the support. My life has been very hectic lately (my church is also looking for a new pastor, since the guy who applied probably won't get the job and we've been without for a year now), but I finally got pictures up. Check it out here:

Lifting up the situation in prayer, my brother.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

 Looking for a GOOD music mix? Check out these stations:
Grey FM Heartland -- a mix of Country and Contemporary Christian music (Listen Now!)
Grey FM Downtown -- a mix of mainstream and Christian pop and rock music (Listen Now!)

More real stuff...

Thanks for the prayers. Duke is doing much better and is able to go outside and play.
