actually anyone who knows anything aobut makin websites. Id like to make a website for my band, id like it to be one where you can come in and the buttons would like, shake or something, a good example of what im trying to do is http://yellowcardrock.com. I dont know the first thing about html or website making, but i have all the graphics id like to use. if you can help me plese do

Nevermind Ashley's split personality, everyone. Well, this can be pretty involved. (That site is cool, btw). Sounds to me like you'd like image maps and animated rollovers. I know how to code these in raw HTML, but there are other programs that make it so much easier - photoshop namely, and I know you know how to use that pretty well. I made an image map in photoshop and image ready a while ago, but other than making slices, I've forgotten how.

Are you hand coding this site, or are you going to use something like Dreamweaver or Frontpage?

It's just that the Ami reminded me of preposition "a" (meaning "to") and the prepostional object "mi" (meaning... uh... me). Several times in Spanish when an action is being directed to a person or thing, speakers say "a" and the object. Of course, there's always the option of using direct/indirect object pronouns, but English speakers usually find this confusing. Direct/inderect object pronouns are always put in front of the verb, unless there is a compound verb phrase including a conjagated verb and an infinitive. In that case, the object pronouns are "fused" with the infinitive. ie: "I gave the pencil to him" can be rewritten as "I gave it to him." Spanish speakers would say, "Yo doy el lapiz a él," or "Yo se lo doy." Se corresponds to "él" (him) and "lo" corresponds to "el lapiz" (it).
