Tsubasa Chronicle episodes 24-26. Wow, the end of the first season already! I'm debating whether I should try to find the second season, or just read the manga....

I also watched FMA: Brotherhood episode 2!!!!

FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood episode 2

We're running on breakneck speed with this one. If we don't slow down soon, I'm going to lose my cautious enthusiasm.

Detroit Metal City OVA 1-7

Considering that this is quite possibly the vulgarest thing I've ever seen in my life, I probably can't recommend it here.

But that doesn't stop it from being awesome.

And now Negishi's "normal" pop song is stuck in my head. "Amai amai amai amai ko-i-bi-to!"

Well I'm gonna start The Count of Monte Cristo series in a couple minutes... looks visually awesome and the style is great from what I've seen in the trailers. Plus I love the Count of Monte Cristo story so I'm really excited about getting to watch this finally... looks great.

Scarecrow, I've seen Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, and it's awesome! It's easily one of my favorite series, and yes, it is incredibly visually amazing :D even if you don't like the storyline, it's still fun to watch just because of it's unique art style and visual effects :3 'tis very eye-catching! I Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

As for me, I'm not entirely sure if this counts as an anime, but it's close enough...I've just watched Wolverine and the X-men episodes 18-21!
:D Great series in my opinion, I love it! If you're an X-men fan, check it out sometime~ <3

Just finished marathoning Death Note with a friend who has never seen it before. We watched the whole series this weekend. And I am :dizzy: from reading all those subtitles! It was very fun to introduce her to one of my favorite animes, though. :)

Also, keeping up with the the new season of Fullmetal Alchemist. So far, I'm pleased. :)

I'm going to finish FMA tonight with the movie.

After that I need to catch up on Code Geass R2, and Cowboy Bebop. After that, I don't know what I'll watch. Perhaps a new Miyazaki film ;).

Watched a bunch of Golion this weekend and am up to episode 30 now. Woot!

Also, we're pretty close to finishing Ideon.

You might have noticed by this point that I am really slow at watching anime.

Finished the 4th volume of Gankutsuou. I love this series so far. I think this one will easily find its place as my number 1 favorite anime series of all time. I've always loved the story of the Count of Monte Cristo and this is the best version I've ever seen of it. The music is great, the look is great, visually amazing, its mysterious, intriguing, I love it. And hardly any action but manages to not bore you with drawn out dialog etc. Usually I have to wait till about mid series before they start to get to the juicy stuff but this has been hard to turn off since the first episode. Nothing feels like filler.

Right now though I'm just hoping the ending doesn't suck and ruin the whole thing...

This series was ok. Some of the 3D CGI were kinda weak, but the 2D patterns were pretty cool...there isn't much else like that in anime.

The ending however...
"Gankutsuou" is some evil being that influences and posses Edmond Dantès. Therefore basically absolving him of his deeds because the things he did were not totally under his control.
Yeah I know it was 'loosely' based on the novel, but this point got to me.

I decided not to do any homework on my birthday, and therefore spent a good part of the day watching anime.

Yesterday, I watched...

Sailor Moon episode 79
Wedding Peach episode 5
Rurouni Kenshin episode 17
Revolutionary Girl Utena episode 18
xxxHOLiC episode 5
and...
Bleach episode 9
