Sakura Wars episodes 7-8
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni episodes 9-13
RideBack episode 7

I have also been tentatively watching Macross Frontier, which I suppose I finished tonight but since I haven't really been watching it aside from catching most of it in my peripheral vision, I'm hesitant to say so. Is it bad that I basically understood all of it giving only a couple episode any real attention?

I've been watching Naruto Shippuden on Crunchyroll. Yeah, I know how late to the party I am. I got tired of waiting for Cartoon Network. I'm currently on Ep 4.

Watched episodes 9 and 10 of Overman King Gainer last night. This series very abruptly took a turn for the better.

Rideback 4
Afro Samurai 4

I say I'm "watching" these, but it was more like "listening" in anime club. Rideback is pretty cool, but it's totally possible to get the gist of the plot while working on the computer... Same with Afro, possibly moreso since it's in English.

Watched the first four episodes of Cowboy Bebop tonight.

Side note: It would be incredibly easy to edit these to make the rating much more suitable for any of the viewers. Which is nice considering that I'm watching it.
Example of Cuts (in Ep 1):
  • Old men gazing at a women's breast in a bar
  • A few EASILY removed swear words
  • The butler getting shot in the forehead

Those examples alone wouldn't change the plot and would make me like Cowboy Bebop more (standards-wise), not that I don't love my gun fights or round house kicks to people faces. Personal: Although I like them my mentality for real life examples has completely changed, knowing I need to humble myself being a big part of it. Not having a hostile attitude can be so hard sometimes when you believe the person has every right to be treated that way. While typing this came across this website with a lesson on being humble Part of an online Bible study on humbling yourselves.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei 01: The first episode in a five-episode OVA. It wasn't terribly interesting, just some gags and comedy, which I guess is fine for a Higurashi OVA. Nothing terribly amazing to be found here. The OP is kind of nice and has a nifty name: Superscription of Data. At least the next few episodes will actually have some substance and will form Saikoroshi-hen.

Of course, all of this only served to remind me about how great Higurashi was and how much I want to see Umineko no Naku Koro ni later this year.

I'm taking my friend through Evangelion. We just got to episode 20 (mwahaha).
I'm also watching season 7 of Dragonball Z, I just watched Princess Mononoke (blah), and I'm thinking about watching Baccano! vol. 1 this week and putting Dragonball Z on hold. I'm behind on my Netflix DVDs too. Urgh!

Well if you like violence, awesome Martial arts packed episodes, amazing deep characters you get attached to, unexpected twists, tragic stories, and super spectacular endings...then this is the show for you! X3 Hokuto No Ken is pretty much an all around win in every area. :D At least in my opinion XP but as you can probably see from my avatar and signature, I'm obsessed with this show, so of course I love everything about it, heh. But it really is a great show! If you have time, check it out :3

There's nothing wrong with being a fan of the White Devil.

Maybe the first six episode are a bit on the 'why are you watching this' side, but then it becomes some sort of shounen/mecha action show, except everyone fighting is a little girl and the pacing isn't terrible. After that point, it trends towards action and away from little girls. I mean, there was even some convoluted military/political drama in StrikerS.

Naruto Shippuden... Once a week on Hulu.
Moon Phase
Clanned
Maybe bleach, but I'm not really getting into that one.

Oh, and Higurashi Rei, as it comes out once a month... The last ep was stupid, it's just a joke episode, but they're starting another serious (short) arc next episode, so I'm excited for that.

Waiting for Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, which hits in June.
