Looking for christian themed or christian based anime for my anime club that im starting up in WCU (its gonna be a christian anime club) so any ideas. also when i say "Looking for christian themed or christian based anime" i mean that they have christian messages or something of that sort, i realize there is little to no anime that has a complete christian foundation

Haibane Renmei, definitely. It's only 13 episodes long and has a lot of discussion points for Christians. It's also got a lot of good messages that Christians can relate to.

My little brother likes cute little things, and I'm really thrilled to get him into anime, but it needs to be safe. My sister didn't know about Konata's porn habit when she started showing him Lucky Star, so I quickly warned her about it. See the problem?

I need some cute, clean shows that don't have much to do with religious/magical stuff. My parents are sensitive about that.

Also, it really doesn't matter if the show is a more typically "girly" show, since my little brother is the type of kid who likes anything sweet and innocent regardless of pastel coloring; I suppose his pre-cutoff enjoyment of Lucky Star illustrates that pretty well.

Boyish stuff is okay, too, but please no trading card based stuff. My parents believe Pokemon or anything similar is of the devil.

Gundam is generally classified into two sections, based on what timeline it uses:

The Universal Century was the original timeline and spawned a massive amount of spinoffs and sequels. As far as this one is concerned, it might be less confusing to start at the beginning with either the original Mobile Suit Gundam series or the three Gundam compilation movies. Do note that the graphics will look extremely dated as the show is old.

The other six timelines tend to be referred to as the AU series since they take place in different universes:
If you wish to start with these, as an entry Gundam, I recommend Gundam 00.

Quite clean, beautiful animation, great story. But just to warn you...It's also really sad. It had me depressed for about a day after I watched it. Actually that's pretty much the same with everything by Makoto Shinkai. Very bittersweet. But always good. I'd also recommend his anime "The Place Promised In Our Early Days."

Gah this is tough since Japanese have different culture standards than Americans.

The only two I can think of that are super kosher are Flying House and Super Book. You might want to try Kimba the White Lion as well.

Look up Saint Tail. I don't remember if it has foul language or not, but I don't think it does. It's pretty old but it's very good.

Oh, yes, I love Nuku Nuku! The OVA is great, and the TV series called "Nuku Nuku Dash" is lame, but there's actually another newer TV series that's pretty good.

Not sure what style you're a fan of, but try checking out "Seta No Hanayome." A ridiculous romantic comedy with mermaids and mafia.

I'm sort of drawing up blanks on the action front as action series tend to get licensed the fastest, but you might try Kekkaishi. It's a pretty good action/supernatural series.

Katekyō Hitman Reborn! is also an unlicensed action, but it sort of focuses on comedy for far longer than is necessary at the beginning.

If you like mecha series, you could try Macross Frontier.

If you like straight science fiction, you could try Dennou Coil.

Note that Macross Frontier has some (usually mild) fanservice scattered throughout. The others only really have violence.

I just finished Vampire Knight (and Guilty), and am looking for something along those lines.
Previous titles with the same feel I'm looking for are: X/1999, Ayashi no Ceres, Basilisk, Ergo Proxy, Saikano.

Any recommendations? I'm 24.. so I'm adult. I can handle mature stuff. But... nothing ridiculous gratuitous ya know? Like Gantz... bleck.

Michiko to Hatchin is by the same studio that did Ergo Proxy. It concerns a woman who breaks out of a Brazilian prison to save her estranged daughter and find her dad, accompanied by some great music and animation (Watanabe was involved at some level). I've only seen about four episodes, but it's good so far.

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni probably fits your description as well, though unless you find the defunct Geneon copy you'll have to wait on Funimation's new distribution. I don't think Higurashi really needs a description by this point, but it's basically a murder mystery on repeat, whose cute visuals undermine the abject cruelty of some of its characters.

And also I'd say Kaiba. Don't let the children's book art turn you away, it's a surprisingly dark (and touching) science fiction tale in a world where memories are currency and the rich can afford to live forever through the bodies of the poor. Among other things.

RideBack might also be worth persuing, though it's a bit slower in pace than the others I just listed. The Kara no Kyoukai movies too.

And everyone everyone everyone should watch Akagi and Kaiji.

I think you might like Baccano! if you haven't seen it yet! It's pretty violent, but it's one of my all-time favorites! XD Essentially, it's about immortal (and mortal) crime lords/the mafia in 1930s America. It's amazing. XD

Also, have you seen Haibane Renmei? It's kind of a slower-paced anime, but it's really excellent and has some amazing themes in it. I'd say it's more "mature" simply because it's not really "for children," even though it's pretty clean.

I'm seconding Higurashi, although if you watch it, be sure to watch Higurashi Kai or you'll be left with an incomplete story. Also, the Kara no Kyoukai movies are excellent. I'd also suggest taking a look at Xam'd, but it's not necessarily as dark. And though I've only watched a few episodes, Ga-Rei Zero might also fit in with what you're looking for.

Darker than Black might be worth checking out for you. I only saw one episode, but it definitely had a dark/mature feel to it, and it is by Bones who are a consistently solid studio for the most part.

This doesn't fully fit in with most of what you have listed but you might check out Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

Also, I'll second Fish's recommendations for Michiko to Hatchin and RideBack.
