I'm sure most people have heard about it by now (in case you haven't, just looked it up on google, it's extremely hard to miss), but I really think this is something that needs to be prayed about. It's sad enough when anybody gets hurt, but one of the news stations actually released the official 911 call on youtube...I swear it's probably one of the most depressing and painful things ever. I at least thank God nobody else was hurt, especially since some regular person could've walked by and got attacked, but still...

The woman was close to this animal for so many years. I think it was silly of her to keep it as a pet, but you can tell this is going to leave her with major problems and I really think we need to pray for her and her friend. It's bad enough when animals attack, but I think this is one of the more extreme cases of a CHIMP going nuts (they aren't exactly known for trying to eat people). I can't imagine if I had to witness all of this and it all happened because of an animal I raised for years. What's more depressing (and extremely sick) are some of the comments on those youtube calls. People saying crap like "this is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time" and wishing the chimp would've done more or that the owner is pretty much a psycho.

There are so many bad things that have come out of this mess, I really just feel like we should pray...

The chimp wasn't trying to eat anyone, it just became really aggressive from the pills/drugs whatever that it was given to calm it down (when it was only a little aggressive). Still a sad situation though.

Actually in the 911 call given, the woman tells the operator he starts eating her friend. I think the news said it was her hand or something, but I know they reported it doing that...

'Eating' in that sense is often an expression. It means to 'maul' or seriously disfigure someone or something physically.

I heard about this event. It is truly sad that the victim might lose her hands and her face. I will pray for her. I think her name was Carla.

That's crazy.. I feel really bad for that lady..Oy.. I'll definitely pray for her.
