Has anyone else seen the new-season anime "Rideback"? The thread title is my best description of it, and I've yet to piece enough together to be sure of what is going on (my Japanese is strictly in the formative stages, so I can't follow enough to be sure what's going on) but I'm beginning to suspect this could be a fun anime.

Either that, or it will be a random bunch of bits pulled from a hat and glued together. I'm not sure which it is yet. But it looks promising. Just curious if anyone else here has seen it.

I was debating on whether or not to check it out, and after some generally positive reactions, I gave it a shot. My initial reactions were that the CG is good because it didn't make me recoil in disgust and that the driving scenes were actually pretty cool. I liked how they tied in the ballet.

The backgrounds are really nice, the CG fits in pretty well, and the character designs remind me of Nodame Cantabile. I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm wondering how the bigger-picture government and civil rights stuff is going to fit in, especially with it having a 12 episode run. It should be a nice watch for a usually slow season like winter.

I've watched the first two episodes. So far, it looks pretty enjoyable. The races were fun to watch.
I've heard it gets fairly political later on.

The CG is better integrated into this than certain Gonzo anime.
