From Friday to yesterday I watched the Area 88 OVA. It was quite enjoyable. It did have some more content than the review for the TV series listed, for anyone who is interested. =)

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I about died laughing on episode 00 where the cat started talking.

That Dude (post: 1280574) wrote:It's very interesting. It kinda has a futuristic 80's crime noir feel to it, along the lines of Blade Runner, though it in no way whatsoever is like it, just the same feel.

Just to warn you, it's rated TV-MA and it definitely deserves it. It's very graphic with violence and language, plus it's pretty bad with the sex too. It's redeeming quality is that it portrays all of that in a very negative light, it's pretty much a show about the evils of hedonism and greed.

Sounds like I'll have to check it out.. =)

Watched Angelic Layer episode 6 a few days ago. It's an ok show, good for filler. =)

Yeah it's definately worth checking out. Just remember, it's pretty graphic all around and deserves the TV-MA rating.

I just finished watching Ouran High School Host Club season one with a friend.
And, yes, I happen to like the dub :jump:

Yeah, I really appreciate the warning, and I'll definitely keep it in mind. =)

I watched episode 7 of Angelic Layer tonight. Sadly it was the dub (curse you netflix). American women fail at sounding like little girls.. :P

I saw the first episode of that a week or so ago. I watched it dubbed and only saw a little bit of it subbed, but judging only from the little bit of what I saw I think I actually prefer the dub.

I watched an episode or two of Sailor Moon R last night (subbed). Also watched the third episode of InuYasha.

I saw Speed Grapher as well. It's odd and like he said very graphic.

I've watched up to episode 27 of Soul Eater and I'm in the middle of Gurren Lagann.

I've finished ARIA the ANIMATION and am on to ARIA the NATURAL. Excellent slice of life series. At the same time, I'm still making my way through Negima!? and have gone through almost everything I've wanted to take a look at for the winter season (Minami-ke Okaeri, RideBack, Kurokami, Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou, Maria+Holic).

I'm about 3 episodes away from finishing "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya". Then....I don't know....

I went to an anime club last week, where we watched D.N. Angel episodes 11-12 (fun to hear Vic Mignogna as Dark), and Read Or Die episodes 4-6 (fun, but I won't be too perturbed if I never see the rest of the show).

I also watched episodes 1-6 of Tsubasa Chronicle dubbed, mainly just to hear what Vic sounds like as Fai D. Florite.

Watched the first disc of King of Beasts Golion (better known in the US as Voltron). It's a lot darker and more somber than I expected.
