Got 2 episodes left on Saikano... I don't like it and I don't think I will with in the next two episodes. I like the story and the idea but this thing just feels stretched and all we get to see/hear are the two main characters crying about something. Its extremely annoying and I hope they both die at the end.

Better dialog, less crying, and more plot development less character, this would be fine. (Character is fine but this whole thing up till now seems to be all character driven and no real story progression... and all the characters do are wine and cry, break up, make up, cry wine, etc so Ireally don't care for them much)

After I finished Bamboo Blade, I went through Seirei no Moribito, which is a really good fantasy set in East Asian style, based on a series of novels. Now, after Moribito, I'm going through Shakugan no Shana, which has a fairly interesting premise, but has an annoying amount of fantasy-babble. Also started Sketchbook ~full color'S~, which is a fairly relaxed slice of life show about students in an art club, sort of like Hidamari Sketch minus SHAFT. I'm also starting to go through Kara no Kyoukai; I'm on the third movie right now.

Done with the third episode of Mushi-shi.
So weird,
somewhat repetitive.
BUT
I like it very much.
Very beautiful art, ideas and music.

I read somewhere it is considered horror?
I don't quite get that.
'Cept maybe for the 2nd ep.
Or,
maybe they were discussing the manga?

Finished Shakugan no Shana and Shakugan no Shana Second, which were decent, but offered no satisfying closure. Also went through Myself ; Yourself, which was underwhelming but has the most terrible voice for one of the characters. Having a look at Negima!? (the one by SHAFT, not Mahou Sensei Negima!) as well.

Also, fall season is over, so ef - a tale of melodies., Nodame Cantabile Paris Chapter, and Kannagi have ended their run. ef melodies wasn't as good as ef memories, Paris Chapter ended well but had severe pacing problems, and Kannagi was good and has a good cast of characters though I can see why people weren't as pleased with the melodramatic last few episodes.

FMA episodes 23-28. This is the first time I've seen the dub for these episodes, and it left me with my jaw hanging open and tears running down my cheeks. The voice acting was so good! :wow!:

Went through some drama/romances of varying quality. H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~ is about a blind guy and is not very good. sola is about a guy who really likes the sky and is pretty much an Air clone and fairly middling. Kimikiss ~ pure rouge is okay but the quality fluctuates a bit and the pairings may induce rage.

Now I'm trying to decide whether to have a look at Aria or Kamichu next.

Over the weekend I finished Kaze no Yojimbo. I wasn't particularly enthusiastic in the beginning, but it turned out to be a very enjoyable show. I'm definitely going to get Yojimbo from Netflix.. Next I'll be getting volume two of Someday's Dreamers. Volume one was not bad, and I need some filler anime for a few weeks.. =)

Hahaha, I just watch Yojimbo yesterday and the sequel, Sanjuro today. Both excellent movies.

I'm supposed to get Lucky Star Vol. 5 from Netflix tomorrow. After that......I'm kind of lost on what new series to go through....

It's very interesting. It kinda has a futuristic 80's crime noir feel to it, along the lines of Blade Runner, though it in no way whatsoever is like it, just the same feel.

Just to warn you, it's rated TV-MA and it definitely deserves it. It's very graphic with violence and language, plus it's pretty bad with the sex too. It's redeeming quality is that it portrays all of that in a very negative light, it's pretty much a show about the evils of hedonism and greed.

Casshern Sins episode 1
Last Exile episodes 1-4
Legend of the Galactic Heroes episodes 5-6
Sakura Wars episodes 1-3

...

What's this I hear?
What wondrous thing?
Is this the Defcon klaxon's ring?
A flashing light.
Above the door.
There's just one thing it could mean...

War!

Oh, what is it good for? (What is it good for?)
It's good for you. (Good for you!)
It's good for me.
Oh, War!
What is it good for? (What is it good for?)
Oh, it strengthens the economy.

It shows the world that we've got stones.
And carriers...with fighter drones.

War! Oh, what is it good for? (What is it good for?)
It's good for you.
It's good for me.

A lengthy battle's an incumbent's dream.
Because you can't change horses... In mid stream.

For bombs. (Boom!)
And guns. (Bang!)
And so much more. (Napalm!)
We celebrate the joys of war, war, war.

For bombs and guns, and so much more.
We celebrate the joys of war!

War, huh, good God

Ohhh, war, I despise
Because it means destruction
Of innocent lives

War means tears
To thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go to fight
And lose their lives

I said, war, huh
Good God, y'all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again

War, whoa, Lord
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing

War, it ain't nothing
But a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
Ooooh, war
It's an enemy to all mankind
The point of war blows my mind
War has caused unrest
Within the younger generation
Induction then destruction
Who wants to die
Aaaaah, war-huh
