Wow Nate. Wow. I have no issue with people having different opinions on the who is the best Joker bit. But saying

14 votes for Ledger? Wow.

I wonder how many of those votes have only seen Ledger/are 13 years old.

This is clearly a dig at people who enjoyed Ledgers preformance the most. Are there a ton of teeny boppers out there that loved TDK? I am sure. But guess what, the movie is now the second all time highest theater gross and just came out...and like most things if it is freshest in mind...it will be more popular. That has nothing to do with a persons age, if they have seen all the films, TV etc. That comes down to the fact that people have fairly short term memories as far as film goes.

If Tarnish meant what you are now saying....then she should have simply quoted Robin Firedrake rather then making a sweeping generalization of all the Ledger fans. Because some of us have watched all the Batman films, have enjoyed various Batman comics, and enjoyed the various animated series that have come along.

I was gonna make a big post about how this is a Batman thread and you're making a big deal because I made a joke about Hot-Topic-going-teenagers, defend my position, and probably get flamed to a crisp because of it.

But then I realized this is a Batman thread and I made a dumb joke about teens.

I should have known this was going to get blown out of proportion, and I apologize.

I don't so much have issue with your question, as much as I have issue with how you said it. You are correct that many younger people would probably have no idea about the other Jokers. But the way you said it swept all Joker fans under the umbrella of "Dumb kids". It would be like sweeping all Harry Potter fans under the dumb kid umbrella. (I know a few adults who love the HP series)

Anyway. Back on topic, I had heard a bit of Hammils Joker on the cartoon...but after hitting Youtube for a bit...he really does have a great Joker voice.

Well...voice and personality wise, Mark Hamill. But I didn't see him, so I went with the live action heath Ledger. he did ok. not how I truly pictured the Joker but he did a relaly good job for his last Role.
