Mean people...but they need help.

Two prayer requests here.

1- For a few weeks, our store was hosting donations to St. Jude's hospital. It was one of those deals where you could either put in a dollar or a variable amount, and then we would hang up the little papers around the store with your name written on it. Good, right? Well...apparently not for everyone.

Me: Would you like to make a donation to St. Jude's Hospital?
Guy: For what?
Me: St. Jude's hospital. *points to the face mat on the counter*
Guy: *looks it over*...Are they catholic?
Me:...I don't -think- so...I think that's just the name of the hospital...
Guy: Eh...they look catholic.

Or something to that effect. Either way it was just...very irritating. Very disturbing. AND I'M NOT EVEN CATHOLIC!! Heck, I totally disagree with the catholic church on most things, but this was just wrong beyond all belief. These kids need help and catholics still follow Jesus too, I mean...come on man!

The fact he was so shameless and rude about it just ticked me off more. I wanted to tell him how it shouldn't matter, these kids NEEDED help and it's not like the organization is known for hoarding money--if anything they're known very much for the opposite...but...gah! I hate it so bad, but he needs prayers. Badly.


2- Awhile ago I came across one of the most insane and racist jerks physically possible. He's one of those types who tries to say "I don't mean it against everyone" but then rants and raves so badly that...you just KNOW he does. I mean, if he didn't, why repeat "americans, westerns and non ASIANS are pathetic and lazy" like...five times? And that's not even remotely the beginning of it. I'm sure some people have probably heard of this guy or saw his site...if not. Praise God people, he's one of those types who's "pride" becomes a problem. He's so covinced Asians are the best ever that he's completely disrespectful and cruel to anyone non-Asian and even complains about America bombing Japan in the 1940's and made a page devoted to how "evil" America is because some American guys have raped Japanese girls before.

Yes rape is wrong, but for crying out loud...Japan is DEFINITELY known for being quite cruel to people--even it's OWN people! Don't act like everybody else is pure evil and you're the precious little angel. Just...*sighs* It's frustrating, but I know God can help this idiot, so we really need to pray for him...

I know I kind of babbled on for awhile there, but I really feel these guys need the Lord with them.

Ugh, I hate when people are like that towards other people due to denominations. Shouldn't someone believing in God and Jesus be all that matters? I guess sometimes that isn't good enough these days.

I'm actually going to be looking into that a bit more.

Praying for them and you with anything that is going on in life!
God be praised for giving us life! ...if that guy has a website were you can comment maybe you can say something about Jesus totally non offensive so that even if he gets mad maybe someone will be influenced by those words.
