I saw my first Miyazaki work today, "My Neighbor Totoro", and the roomie is wanting togo through Trigun, so, we're going through Trigun!

Well, I finished rewatching Akira...and I'm not quite as confused as when I first watched it. Don't get me wrong: I'm confused, but much less so now.

I was wondering if anyone else was slightly disturbed with the fact that Joshua Seth (Voice of Tai from Digimon) played Tetsuo? I mean, to hear Tai cuss like the proverbial sailor was both hillarious and disturbing at the same time...

Anyway, I took a quick spin through "Metropolis" and "Saiyuki: Requim" on my days off, so I think the next thing I'm going to check out is either "Barefoot Gen" or "My Neighbors The Yamadas". (as you can see, I've been on an anime movie kick for some reason)

Record of Lodoss War (5 and 6 I think), first in German since they forgot the subtitles, but I caught the re-run and this time around they had the subtitles so I could follow more than just a word or two.

I watched Record of Lodoss War 1 and 2 yesterday. Luckily they had no more subtitle hiccups.

I am one of the proud broadcast-order watchers. XD The first few eps I originally saw with my anime club... only two people in there had seen it before, so while we were watching that they kept snickering and watching everyone else's confused reactions more than they were watching the actual anime XDD

Despite writing like mad this weekend, I also managed to get caught up with Toradora again. x3 So, so much fun - I swear, it's like if an episode goes by without putting the characters into some incredibly awkward situation, it's been wasted. XD

And then Ryuuji seems to have this gender-flipped-Tohru thing going on, where he gets these sweet heart-to-heart moments with each of the female leads and manages to understand them like no one else does. Like Tohru and a certain zodiac-cursed family I could mention. It's pretty cute. ^^

I'm showing my friend who is a nominal anime fan lot's o' good anime. So far we've watched the first season of School Rumble, Nadesico, and are halfway through Last Exile. Next on the list are Wolfs Rain and Witch Hunter Robin.

Finished the Record of Lodoss OVA and they've now started airing the series: Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight. But they'e switched from German with English subtitles to Japanese with English subtitles.

I watched the first 2 episodes. I'm still not sure exactly where it fits in with the OVA.

Stratos 7.

Mostly out of "Just gotta watch something before I go to bed" more than anything. I didn't want to start a marathon of a series until my weekend off.

I might start either a "Nadia: Secret of Blue Water", "Cowboy Bebop" or a "Midori Days" marathon this weekend.

Pale Cocoon(OVA)
It's a sci-fi OVA,but the story,and ending were pretty nice.
Fairly short, only 30 minutes or so.

Xam'd: Lost Memories 14. Please tell me someone else is watching this, because it would be a shame to miss this excellent show with an unfortunate distribution model. At this point, I am prepared for it to rival Eureka Seven.

It's not helping that the only way to watch the show (legally) is on the PS3.
Otherwise, more people would be watching it.
