everyone's pretty much listed all the hot anime guys, but i gotta say, spike from buffy was hot! i loved him! he kinda went from villian to anti-hero tho, but that's ok, i love spike!

I know what you mean. But the Phantom of the Opera is my favorite "villain" ever...he's not evil, but he is sort of the "bad guy", not that it's his fault.

As for anime/manga...hmm. Hitokiri Battousai. But he's not really evil, just crazy.

personally i didnt think greed was that good looking. i mean he wasnt bad but compared to others i dont think he looks that great. lol but i suppose to each their own.

Heart of Sword... I didn't see Phantom, and I don't think Phantom is cute. You didn't see Buffy, and you don't think Spike is cute.

I think half of it is the actor and his skill at acting. (Or if you're talking about an animated character, obviously how well he's written, drawn, and voice acted.)

I'm just throwing this out there, but it's a thought. Unrealistic villains, villains that lack depth, I'll bet we don't like them, anyway not much. Vivid characterization might be part of this whole thing. At least... sort of. *end random thought*
