ic: Jairus thought for a moment. "Well, in general, I stick to what my mother always taught me: 'a friend in need is a friend indeed'." The tall puma shifted his weight to on leg, thinking it over. Then, as if he had picked up her hint, he chuckled, crossing his arms infront of himself, grinning. "Nah, I'm not gonna eat you. I'm on a diet of peperoni, swiss cheese, tomatoes and italian dough." Chuckling to himself, Jairus jogged back to the kitchen to scrounge some meat out of the fridge.

Sho looked thoughtful for a long moment. "In truth, the only way to control it is through time and much practice. You are still young and have far to go. Do not worry about it. With God's help, it is possible, young one." He put his hand on her shoulder, gently squeezing it to comfort her.

Maxine let out a relieved sigh. "Great, you're one of the few good cats." She smiled and put her arms behind her head and leaned against the arm of the couch.. "Not many cats I run into are able to resist eating martens." She told him, recalling the many encounters she has had with wild cats. She then looked back up at Jairus with a confused expression. "Cat man, that's an odd diet you're on.. May I ask why you're only eating those things? Besides, you don't look like you need to be on a diet." She said as she examined him. "Of course, if it stops you from eating small animals-" She smirked.

OOC: Since she has never really lived amongst people, she has never had stuff like pizza, ice cream, stuff that has to be put together. She has only eaten things that are natural in the wild (meat, veggies, fruit, etc.)

OOC-Don't mean to interrupt in the RP but I have a question that I want to ask because I have no idea where I stand in the RP. Okay heres the question, is storm outside on the ground still bleeding to death from loss of blood or is he inside because of the swordsmen? Just thought I would ask because I think storm is still outside in the dirt.

ic: two of the large sword-bearing figures had brought Storm in, laying him on a long couch. After changing the dressing on his wound, one said to the other "Barnibus, go and fetch a bowl of warm water and a clean cloth. Barnibus nodded and did as he'd been instructed, returning only minutes later. "Here you are, Miguel." Barnibus said, handing his companion the cloth. Miguel nodded, taking the cloth from his comrad and wetting the cloth before applying it to the injured Storm's scarred shoulder, now that it had stopped bleeding enough to do so.

Jairus came back to Maxine's side with a plate of cold steak in his hand. He smiled and winked at her as she spoke the last unfinished sentence. "I have a thing for international quisine. Open's you up to quite a variety of tasty goodness if I do say so myself. Though, let's just say I've never really had a taste for raw meat" he said, getting a wry grin on his face "...especially little vixens with an attitude covered in fur." With that, Jairus exited the room, not waiting for the marten's reply.

ooc: note to LN, this is totally meant in fun and not flirting. Jairus is just kinda funning with Max, if you know what I mean.

I'll try and get the profiles for the swordsmen up soon. I've been hecka busy like you wouldn't believe.

Maxine grabbed the steak out of Jairus' hands and started tearing into it as she listened to him speak. She stopped when she heard the last bit. "I resent that!" She huffed. "I am not a vixen!" She watched as he exited the room, a bit of enmity in her eyes. She finished the steak and tried to get comfortable on the couch. After a couple of minutes of restlessness, she fell asleep. As soon as she got in a deep sleep though, her dreams ventured into memories she would have rather forgotten. A hard expression, mixed with malice and fearfulness, fell upon her face as she slightly started shifting position on the couch restlessly.

ic: Jairus chuckled to himself at Maxine's retort as he left the room. Turning his thoughts to the previous events leading up til then, Jairus came to the front door. Pushing it open, he stepped outside into the fresh air and breathed in and out deeply. When he's picked up the faint smell of burned gasoline smells like a jeep or a 4X4 rig, probably Bernadita's.
Jairus closed his eyes, standing fully upright, feet planted firmly apart, arms at his sides. Croutching low to the ground, the tall puma opened his eyes and began running on all fours toward the woods that surrounded the orphanage in search of the white huntress. Hope she's okay... Jairus thought as he began running swiftly through the thickly wooded area, dodging trees and shrubberies ans staying low to the ground so as to stay down wind.

Kianna looked up, "Then I will learn to control it. So I need to train." She picked up her bag, "I don't know if I have a room here or who is in charge hmm..oh well." She looked over at Sho, "Your not leaving right?"

ic: Sho smiled down at Kianna. "I will not." he assured her. "Where you go, I will go."

Kianna felt her cheeks grow red. Now that was interesting. It was what she thought was called "blushing". She looked up at Sho, "Okay then you will help me to fight." She smiled as she walked up stairs.

She placed her bag in an empty room, It had a bed, dresser and Tv but that was it.

She looked up at Sho, "Let's go outside, I see a field over there."

She didn't tell anyone where she was going, why should she? She also didn't really care if anyone was hurt, it happened. She grabbed her bo staff, which never left her side and walked out the back door.

Sho watched Kianna as she dropped her belongings into an empty room and headed out the back door. He shook his head playfully, following her out the door. Drawing his sword, he twirled it around in his hand before driving the blade into the earth. He looked at her reassuringly. "I won't be using it to spar with you. You're not quite high enough a caliber for that yet." he said with a wink. With that, he inhaled sharply, getting into a cat stance and putting on a fiercesome cat-like glare. "Begin!" Sho bellowed, waiting for Kianna to strike.

Waking up after minutes later after falling unconscious Storm felt someone putting something on his wound looking up Storm saw a very tall man looking down upon him putting gause on his shoulder wound."Iya, that hurts! And what are you doing to my shoulder?"asked Storm to the tall man.

Kianna placed the staff on the ground. She didn't pull into an elaborate stance (altho cat is a good fifty/fifty stance to start in). She walked around him slowly in circles, kind of dancing a little as she went.

She suddenly turned in to his back side, and ran in, hands on guard to protect her face..

She sniffed a bit, and smirked. A canine, eh?

"No, we're pretty much ok! Just a bit knocked around, is all!"
She motioned for him to come over.

Conri walked over to the girl with green hair and the reptilian boy. "That's good." He said, studying the girl. A feline? He smirked at the thought. "The name's Conri. And you are?" He asked as he stuck his hand out.

She took his hand and shook it.
"So, what brings you out here? It must be a far piece from where you live, right?"[/font]

Conri smirked as he shook her hand. "Nice to meet you, Siobhan." He said as he withdrew his hand and adjusted his gun holster vest. "Uh.." He exhaled in an almost laugh. "Don't freak out, but I came with the huntress. No worries though, I'm good." He gave her a big, almost nerdy smile as he held his hands up, showing he wasn't harmful.

She growled a bit, then took an extremely deep breath, and shook her head.
"I'm, uh, I'm really sorry about that, Conri. I'm just overprotective of them at times. . ."

Conri took a step back. Should have chosen my words better.. "I do not do what she does, but I did go along to help. When I found out they were animal children, I wasn't going to allow her to hurt them." He told her in a serious tone. "I was the one that stopped her." He nodded towards his pistols. "Eh, I just like weapons." He smiled, then looked back at the orphanage. "I better be heading that way to see if they need any medical help." He told her as he started back towards the house.

Miguel looked down at the stirring boy on the couch as he cried out. "Take it easy, hombre. You've sustained a nasty wound on your shoulder. Just ly back down whilest I treat it for you. Me allmo Miguel, and this is my amigo, Barnibus." Miguel said, gesturing toward his comrad with a nod of his head. "Just keep breathing in and out and you will be alright, si?"

Sho watched Kianna as she slowly circled him, following her every movement. As she rushed him, he cartwheeled out of the way, circling around to her rear flank, throwing a foot out infront of her at the last possible moment. He grinned.

Ic: Bernardita awoke, her ears listening for any sounds... nope. She yawned, "Durmiéndose así, la vergüenza en mí."*

After jumping out of the Jeep, she starting walking towards the forest to find her guitar. That is until... Bernardita jumped and turned around, a light "bleep" catching her attention. A bomb? Tracker? She warily walked back to the Jeep, the bleep going off every 10 seconds or so. It came from the glovebox.

Bernardita opened it, revealing a mixed pile of papers and.. a walkie-talkie. It was low on batteries. "Hmmm..." She wondered who would pick up on the other end. She pressed the call button, one that would send a ringing noise to the other walkie-talkie it was connected to.


* "Dozing off like that, shame on me."

Maxine slowly woke up at the sound of voices near by. She groaned as she repositioned herself on the couch. She saw two men around a boy lying on a couch across the room. It appeared that they were bandaging his wound. She let her head drop back on the arm of the couch and sighed. She was still hungry, so she turned into her Marten form and managed to hop to the fridge. She opened it and started devouring the meat.

Conri heard a ringing noise coming from his pocket. He stopped walking and grabbed the walkie talkie from his deep pocket. That's odd.. He thought. Trent didn't use the normal precaution.. He pushed the talk button and hesitated a bit. "Hello?"

"Who's that you're talking to, if I may ask?"
She didn't trust Conri, not by a long shot. . .

The wind started blowing a bit, sending some dead leaves blowing towards them.
"Well, fine, then I'm going to follow you there. Uni?"
She asked as she looked back at her silver-haired companion.[/font]

Bernardita grinned, somewhat surprised at who picked up. "Well, if it isn't the little marksman.." she snickered.

She suspected he was the one who had shot her, she never saw for sure, but he was the only one with firearms. Her tone changed. "Care to explain?" She growled.

Conri froze when he heard Bernardita's voice. He looked back at Siobhan, furrowing his brows. "Oh, uh.." He didn't know what to say. He knew who was on the other end of the walkie-talkie, but he didn't want to tell the feline, in fear she would blow up and attack him. "Listen, what I'm going to say to her is going to sound bad.. But please trust I am on your side." He didn't want to shoot anyone else today. He looked back at the device in his hand and pushed talk. "Blanca?! What happened to you? Last thing I remember, I got hit in the head with something hard.. And the next thing I know, you're gone!" He let go of the button and looked back at Sio. "You can follow if you wish." He told her as he started going back to the house.

Bernardita scoffed. "Is that so..?" She questioned, wondering if he was lying or telling the truth. "Some idiota tried to take me on my "last joyride" or such in the desert. A little ironic, considering what I did to him." She chuckled, tapping her fingers across the dash in a row.

"Where are you now?" She asked. She didn't know if she should trust him or not, but for now, she would stand neutral. If he was an ally, he would be a valuable one. If not, then possibly dangerous.

"Okay, so where did you come from Miguel and also did you already get that bullet out of my shoulder? Because it hurts like crazy in my right shoulder right now since you seem to be working on it."asked Storm to Miguel. And off in the corner of his eye Storm saw the little marten girl turn into her anichi form and go to the fridge and get some meat to eat. I wonder what shes doing and will she find me threatening since I'm a cat.

He looked at the walkie-talkie for a couple seconds, then looked back at Siobhan. "Disregard everything I am about to say." He told her as he turned his attention back to the walkie talkie and walked away from the girl and boy, hoping they wouldn't be able to hear. He held it to his mouth and pushed the talk button again. "I am close to the edge of the forest. Apparently I have been able to convince them that I am an ally. For now, I will stay with them and gather information on their weaknesses and strengths. I will keep you updated. Over and out." He let go of the button and stuck the walkie talkie in his pocket. He turned back to the girl and nervously smiled. "Hopefully she buys it." He said as he approached the front door.

Siobhan stepped in between him and the front door, making sure that he wouldn't be able to get access until she was satisfied with his answer.

He sighed and looked her in the eye. "I was never on her side to begin with, so I'm not betraying her. I'm only her partner to help the ones she tries to harm, like all of you." He told her, no trace of humor in his voice. "Now please step aside. I want to see if anyone from the fight earlier needs medical assistance." He told her, waiting for her to move.
