If you can spare a prayer

Postby Evran » Fri Oct 17, 2008 3:40 am

Hey guys, I usually don't like asking for this kind of thing, but anyway.

My Grandfather had quite a massive fall today (he's 79). Subsequently he has lost feeling in his legs and hands, and the doctors are saying he may have broken his back (Yeah, I wasn't too pleased to hear this).

Suffice to say, we're all hoping and praying that this isn't the case. I'll be receiving word tomorrow of the outcome of his examinations, but in the mean time, if you could spare a prayer, for my Grandfather and to a lesser extent my family, it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks guys.

I will definitely be praying for him and your family.
Always find time in your day to rejoice for something the Lord has done for you... even if it is just the miracle of getting up every morning.

Thanks guys.

I apologize for the lack of updates, we really haven't been told all that much more at this point. His full body examination that he was supposed to have was canceled because he has a pace-maker, and it would have messed with the machines, or the machines would have messed with the pace-maker. One or the other.

Beside that though, it seems to be less severe than originally thought (Thank God). So thank you all for praying :). Hopefully we'll know exactly what is going on soon enough.

I just now read this.

Glad it's not as severe as you thought. I'll be praying.

Thanks again guys.

It ended up being damage to his neck, though to what extent I wasn't told. Suffice to say, he ended up getting surgery today, and from the look of things will make a full recovery. :D

Thank God and thank you all for praying.
