As Jairus watched the boy snap is assailent out of her attack, he felt a surge of power rush through him, as if activated by an unseen electricity running through him. The button...she must have pushed it he thought. Jairus looked as eight tall sword-bearing figures appeared around the group of anichi in front of the orphanage.
"I see you've finally been summoned." he said to the instant new-comers as they moved inward toward the group, sheathing their swords as they came. "I suppose the only thing I have for you to do at the moment is to assist me in gathering up the wounded and bringing them inside for further treatment."
With that, Jairus handed Jericho to one of them and walked over to Maxine, picking her back up in the same way he had only moments earlier. "Don't be afraid" Jairus comforted her, "they're friends. I'll have to save the introductions for a later date though." With that, Jairus carried her inside, followed by the silent soldiers the button had summoned. Jairus looked around inside as he came in. "Is there a doctor in the house?" he asked rather nonshallauntly.

Conri hesitated when he saw the people with swords. When he realized they were friendly, he moved past them and headed deep into the forest with Bernardita in his arms. He went to the edge of the forest (not near the town) and started heading towards a jeep parked near. Next to the jeep, stood a shadowy man. "Trent, take Bernarita far away from here." Conri said as he handed the girl to Trent.

Trent took the girl and started tying her up, making sure to take her weapons away after. He then placed her in the back of the car and started heading towards the desert at top speed.

Siobhan hunched down to the ground when she heard more gunshots.

"Don't do this to my orphanage!!"

She loked over at Unico, and dashed over to him, turning back to human mode and looking at him urgently.

"We need to do something, Uni. I can't just stand back and do nothing!"
She looked over towards where the sound of gunshots emanated, her green hair falling over her shoulders.

"What can we do?!"[/font]

Bernardita's ears faintly caught the sound of a motor.. or was it growling.. no, a motor.. she could not tell. In what seemed like a fishbowl of black, her senses were dulled and weak. Pain would pulse through her as if a stubborn child was repeatedly tapping against the glass; she ignored it though.

Trying to force her body to move with curses was apparently pointless.

Unico was startled by Siobhan's sudden energy burst, but his face softened to an understanding form. Softly, as not to excite Siobhan, he tried to come up with a reasonable solution.

"I know, Siobhan. Yet, I don't want you to do anything rash. Not for their sake, mind you, but for you... and me."

Unico slipped his hand behind his hair and onto his neck, rubbing it as he thought. His chest was swelling with anger, and unanswered questions. Abruptly, as if snapped out of a sudden slumber, he hissed deeply.

"I'm not going to remain idle, either. Even though I'm no use in Anichi form, unlike you, I can use weapons. There should be some in the house. I'll be back, don't do anything without me."

Unico blew Siobhan a farewell kiss, then dashed for the back door.

Siobhan gulped as Unico blew the kiss, and watched him run into the house.
She placed her hands in her pockets, and waited with an aura of anxiety permeating her body.

"Hurry up, hurry up...."
She turned her sensitive ears to the motor sound that faintly echoed through everything.

Unico came running back just as quickly as he had left. Gasping for breath heavily, he nodded at Siobhan.

"-Patience, Siobhan! You are much faster, so lead the way. I'll catch up. Just, for God's sake, be careful!"

[font="palatino Linotype"]Go on ahead? That seemed to be the best, but there wasn't any way that Siobhan was going to leave Unico by himself to where he could get hurt!

"No, I'll hinder my speed for ya, but you might need to move kinda quickly, or else I'll have to carry ya."
She chuckled a bit, and started walking as she looked over to Unico.

"So, what weapons did'ja get?"

She knew that she was acting weird, but if she didn't try to be calm, she'd get taken over by the caracal again...[/font]

Trent looked back at the girl that was tied up. He realized she started waking up. "Ah, not yet, dear, not yet." He said as if he was talking to an inpatient child. He grabbed a syringe out of the dashboard and quickly used it on the girl. "There. Now, you won't be able to move your limbs for a while, so it's useless to try." He told her with an almost taunting smile. "You still can speak though and move your head slightly, but if you start getting nasty.." He held up a role of ductape and laughed a bit. He had been driving for a couple hours now. They were almost at their destination. "Now, once we get to our destination, will you promise to be good for my friends?" He asked, still using a voice he would use for a child.

After giving Trent the girl, Conri started heading back to the orphanage. He wanted to check on the wounded and offer a hand. But mostly, he wanted to meet others like himself. Once he got to the edge of the forest, he just watched for a while, wondering if he would get attacked by a crazed animal again. After a couple minutes, he finally headed towards the house.

Kianna looked at the large man with swords. She didn't remember much what had happened but she could already tell she wasn't sure about this place nor what she had gotten herself into.

(SN, can I just use one of the chars to come up to me? If not I will edit ^_^)

As one of the tall figures approached, Kianna instantly felt her body go defensive. She didn't care if they were helping the other wounded, kindness now could mean death later. An experience she wouldn't repeat.

She was sitting so all she could was aim her weapon at the thing, "Don't come near me." (She is only 12 just so you guys know ^^ albeit a mature one lol)

She knew in the back of her mind that is was probably stupid because he had a sword and she could barely walk but she wouldn't go down without a fight if that was the case. Now she would have to wait to see what happened.

Bernardita's vision slowly returned though a fuzzy and smudged world she awoke to. She made out the figure of the back of a man sitting in front of her. The constant roaring of the motor gradually became more clear. She figured she was in a vehicle, the back of one anyhow.

She saw the blurred man turn around, a small object in his hand. Bernardita squinted at it as it came closer to her. She growled. She hated needles and winced as he used it on her. What slight feel she had in her limbs faded. She cursed again.

"Esto es ridÃculo..."* She huffed at the man who spoke to her as if she were a child. "Tengo 21 aÃ±os, usted idiota."* As far as meeting his so-called friends, she wasn't so sure if she wanted to. She liked humans but this one was just irritating. If she were going to meet more like him, God help her and her temper. "Â¿DÃ³nde estoy yo?" She demanded her answer with another growl.

* "This is ridiculous..."
* "I am 21 years old, you idiot."
* "Where am I?"

Trent started looking around the car for something. "Ah, were did I put that blasted thing?" He mumbled as he searched his car, making him swerve a bit. He scanned the back seat and finally spotted it. He grabbed a gun that was behind her feet on the seat. He smiled as he held it up, sometimes glancing back at her while he drove. "Don't worry love. This is for later." He laughed as he dropped it in the seat next to him. "Now, try to enjoy the ride, okay? It might be your last." He said as he let out another laugh. "By the way, I don't speak Spanish."

Conri spotted a boy and a girl out of the corner of his eye. The boy had long silver hair and the girl had green hair. He glanced at the house, then back at them. "Hallo there!" He called to them as he approached. "Do either of you need medical help?"

Bernardita's eyes darted towards the gun as the man grabbed it. Had she scared him? No, his laughing seemed suspicious. Use it for later? Her mind raced, that animal part of her warning her of danger. Her heart pounded as the feeling in her arms and legs slowly returned. Not fully but she could move them.

She tried stealthily reaching for one of her pockets with her tied hands but... 'El idiota los tomó!'* Bernardita glared at the man in anger. She had met fools that tried to kill her before, but none of them had tricked her and surprised her with bullets. Let alone kidnap her.

"Puede la Muerte le toma con prisa..."* Bernardita swung her hands over the man's head when he looked back at the road and pulled back. The rope that bound her hands together strangled his neck as tight as she could hold it, her ears listening for his breath to stop as he squirmed and writhed in his seat. Fortunately she pulled back far enough to lift his hands away from the steering wheel and his feet from the petals, causing the Jeep to slow to a stop.

He collapsed. "Idiota." She snickered and hopped over into the passenger seat. There a bag of her belongings held her knife and she quickly cut the ropes. She opened the driver's side door and shoved the dead-or-not man out with her foot. "Maybe this was your last ride. Aha."

Bernardita had had enough. With a sigh of relief, she took control of the wheel and pushed down on the gas, driving North away from the hated desert. At least there was a good side to this little experience: a free Jeep. She grinned.

btw, Kelly, that will be just fine, just don't get overly agressive or anything.

ic: One of the tall sword-toting figures had come up to a small young wolf to aid her in getting medical attention; the wolf, however, seemed reluctant, if not scared, to accept it from him. Kneeling in front of her, the tall man gently extended his hand to her, softly smiling at her as he did so. "Don't be afraid" he said in a calm and peaceful tone "I won't hurt you." His voice seemed barely above a whisper in form, yet perfectly audible. "You may call me Sho" he continued, his hand still outstretched toward the girl in the ground in front of him. She's been hurt in past by trusting in such things Sho thought to himself. He hoped she still had some faith in charity.

ooc: I'll post bios for the swordsmen a little later, hopefully tomorrow or Sunday

"Sho..." she whispered almost inaudibly. She took his hand, she figured she didn't have much of a choice anyhow. "My name..is Kianna."

Sho smiled gently at Kianna as she took his hand. Gently, so as not to do any firther damage to whatever injuries she might have had, Sho pulled Kianna to her feet. "Lean on me if you need to, young one. You'll need your rest to recover." With that, he walked her inside the orphanage to find her a place to rest.

ooc: if there's anyone inside besides those who just came in, you can have them interact with them or something.

Kianna pushed away from his shoulder, gently. "I'm fine. I don't have severe wounds." She grabbed her bag that was still at the door, "I don't know this place. I just got" she hesitated, "dropped of this morning. I saw people yelling, decided to help." She looked at Sho, "Why are you here?"

Starting to come back from his unconscious state just a little bit. Storm heard people talking and much noise from people moving around. Storm tried to move one of his arms but he could seem to move for loss of blood. Thinking to himself,"Why can't I move? It could still be that bullet that is still lodged in my shoulder."

Jairus looked down at the girl in his arms.
"Whatever you say, kiddo." With that, Jairus laid Maxine down on an open couch, proping her broken foot up gently on one end to good measure. Then he stood back up and walked to the kitchen and poured a glass of water before returning to his patient.
"Seeing as we're both new-comers here" he said handing her the glass "we should probably get to know each other a little better. Name's Jairus."

Sho nodded in understanding. "I'm a friend of the puma. I go where he goes. It's something of a spiritual bond that ties us together like that."
He followed Kianna inside.

When Jairus set Maxine down and started propping her foot up, it made her fidget. Her foot was still in much pain from her wound. She took the glass of water from the guy and chugged it down, then wiped her mouth with her arm and set the glass next to the couch. "Call me Max." She said, looking at him with an uneasy eye. He made her very nervous. Even if he did help her, he was still a cat. She sighed and slowly swung her legs off the side of the couch so she was in a sitting position. She stood up, making sure not to put any pressure on her bad foot. Her brow furrowed as she tried to figure out how to get to the fridge without her foot hurting too bad. She sighed and sat back down in defeat, knowing there was no way for her to go that far with her foot in its current state. She looked at Jairus and scrunched her face up in thought. "Could you.." She hesitated a bit, but continued. "Could you get me some food, by any chance?" She finally asked, a nervous smile on her face.

Jairus grinned down at Maxine knowingly. "Sure, Max. Anything you have a particular hankoring for?" he said as he started for the fridge.
I could learn to like this kid Jairus thought to himself.

IC: Without having to think, Maxine answered. "Meat." She propped her hurt leg on the couch and let the other one hang of the side. "Hey, uh... Cat dude, can I ask you a rhetorical question?"

Kianna smiled, "Thank you." She lookeda the others, 'Is there a way...is there a way to control what is inside me? so..so i don't hurt anyone anymore!" Her face grew determined for a moment before slipping into sadness.

IC: Maxine thought for a moment. "Well.. Let's say you were walking alone in the woods and.. You happen to stumble across a small wounded animal.. Would you stop to help it, or would your animal take over and eat it? Hypothetically speaking, of course." She asked, glancing up at his face now and then. She needed to know if he was like those other wild cats she had met before or not..*

OOC: *Meaning, If he would try to kill/eat her or not.
