That's right, because souls are immortal.

This was not said at the pannel, but word around the street is that they are not canceling Naruto, but as of right now, they are in a noncommittal on acquiring any more eps of Naruto. I believe they have about 15 new eps left and after that, its up in the air.

As for Toonami going off the air, I really don't care. The last time that I watch Toonami was for JL and JLU and after those series ended, I stop watching it.

If Naruto goes that's it for Saturday Nights on CN. Even thou they pushed it to 10:30PM That will be the only time I will watch unless Bleach gets pulled next than its a total turn off of CN/AS. NO ANIME NO CN/AS.

Wow. I feel like I've been locked away from the world for weeks.

I feel the same. Toonami's been dead to me for years. I forgot of its mere existence until now.

Is it me, or does it seem as if CN is gradually getting rid of anime altogether (sp?)? Kinda sad, since it was one of two that introduced me to anime (first was Fox Family, when they showed Digimon and Monster Rancher. Bit the dust a few years back...or morphed into ABC Family? oO)

Toonami will be missed. Cartoon Network, ratings wise,is now on life support. I miss the old Cartoon Network.

Here is the deal with Naruto. There are only 20 more eps to go and that will be the end of the series and then it picks up with the Naruto Shippūden tv series.

Talking to some upper channels, the talk about not acquiring any more eps of Naruto would be for Naruto Shippuden and not the original series of Naruto.

This Friday night, they are going to air Naruto : Legend of the Stone of Gelel movie.

Good, they're not cancelling Naruto after all. Is Naruto Shippuden as good as the original or better?
