While staying with a couple of friends the last few days, we've been watching Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne. I really like it --it's like DN Angel, but better.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

I'm watching "The Big-O" right now....but I don't know whether to keep up with that or start "Dragonball Z" season 6.

I watched all 3 parts of Gunsmith Cats! It's an awesome action "girls with guns" anime! Rally Vincent is a great character!

The attention to detail on the cars and guns is really good. The Shelby Cobra GT 500 is a cool car! I know there is a relatively newer manga series still going. I believe called Gunsmith Cats BURST. The first manga series finished in the late 90's.

Anyways, I wish the show was more than just 3 parts (approximately 90 minutes). It's a short and sweet show.

I have to add that there is a great and long car chase scene! I love car chases. hehe

Currently watching:

- Macross Frontier (almost over, but best anime of 2008 for me, hands down)
- Eureka seveN (not sure how I missed this earlier, awesome anime)
- Code Geass (Getting near the end... not quite as good as it originally seemed)
- Darker than Black (Only watched the first few episodes, seems promising so far. I expect nothing less from studio BONES though)

Watched another Lucky Star episode from vol. 3 (that'd be #11), and my brother bought the Second Voyage set for One Piece yesterday. We [practically] plowed through four episodes last night.

Cannot wait to see the rest, and here's hoping that Sanji's vocabulary doesn't get too far out of line (I'm not sure which way it could go, considering the uncut version garnered a +14 rating).

I finished The Big-O tonight and I was left with a giant "?" what the heck what that?
Now it's on to something I understand, namely, the "mindless fun" that's Dragonball Z (season 6).

Finished watching One Piece: Season One, Voyage Two today...and I'm thoroughly pleased that my fears about Sanji's dialogue weren't true (though he did drop a couple of unexpected words all the same o_o). Still, FUNimation's dubbing is excellent.

Can't wait for the next DVD set. ^_^
