UnderOath - Lost In The Sound Of Seperation
Remedy Drive - Daylight Is Coming (It's kinda weird personally knowing a band before they get big and then seeing them get signed and whatnot...)

Exchanged the P.O.D cd for NeedToBreathe's cd Daylight cause I didn't really like the P.O.D cd and my brother didn't want to buy it off me. It's not a very good reason to exchange a cd, but I work where I bought it so I have employee-power.

I pre-ordered Anberlin's New Surrender about two weeks ago, so that should be getting here tomorrow or the next day, at the latest. XD Should be coming with a 7" vinyl, too, so that's awesome! XD

Origin by Evanescence

I have been avoiding Evanescence because it is popular, but I heard the song "Lies" on Batcave Radio and was impressed. The rest of the CD isn't as good as that song, of course, but it is still decent. More melodic than heavy.

Ah ha! It's good to hear I'm having an influence! I think one of the major reasons Evanescence made it big was the band's ability to bring musical territory from Gothic and Industrial music to larger audiences without alienating them. These influences are strongest in Origin, which marks the transitional period between underground chic and mainstream success. Apparently, the band's output became more heavy in releases to follow, which may be to your liking. Still, I'm generally only good at judging heaviness of harsh electronic music, so I can't really advise you on this one.
