Frustrated; Trying to get Enrolled into a course

Hi,

I am at my last term on my university, and I have been trying to enroll into a Chinese course since two months ago. It isn't a course that anyone can enroll into, so I filled out the paper and has gotten permission to get enrolled. But since I am a fourth year trying to get into a first year course, they are putting me on waiting list instead even though there are space left. I asked them if I can expect to get enrolled or not, and all they said is 'they don't know, they will let me know if they can".

Now, more than a month has passed, and I see people in fourth year getting enrolled, but not me. It seems as if they have forgotten about me, or maybe they are prejudiced against me since I am a Chinese? What is with the "they will let me know when they can" anyway? I emailed them, but they didn't reply, so I am sending them another email today.

How can they be so irresponsible? Now, if they couldn't get me enrolled, I have to waste one more year in university, and who knows, they may keep telling me to wait next term and so on, for how long? Until I am dead? If they don't want to enroll me, they should say so and I will change school...

Sorry for the ranting. I felt like everything is out trying to test me these days.

Thanks. I contacted the office again, and they said they cannot enroll me because the class will be full. Well, even now, that school has started, the class still isn't full. I will talk with the professor instead of dealing with unco-operative administrations.
