Nightmare has me worried

Postby rocklobster » Mon Sep 08, 2008 4:15 am

While I was evacuating from Hurricane Gustav, I had a bad nightmare. I haven't had a nightmare since I was a child. I would've considered the dream to be nothing but subconscious concern about the storm, were it not for the content. In the dream, I meet a fortune teller. I tell him I have no interest in the future, but am soon surrounded by demons. That's when I woke up. The demons did nothing to me, but I'm worried. I'm unsure of what's going on. My guardian angel tells me I needn't worry, she's able to fight off any demons that dare attack me. But I can't help worrying. Please send me your prayers.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. I appointed you to be a prophet of all nations."

Brother,

I am no stranger to demonic attack. First of all, yes your guardian angel can fight off demons. At the same time, I caution you because just because she can does not mean she will. Afterall, God can allow testing and trials to happen to strengthen us by fire. So i would encourage you to strengthen yourself by his word and put on His armor. You can defeat demons by the Word and the Word is both the Holy Spirit and the Bible.

I will pray
I am on the forefront of battle against the demons of earth. All Praise and Glory be given to God Forever and Ever!

'tis not the power of men, nor demons, nor even angels alone that will save you, brother, but rather the power of almighty God that will preserve and keep you in your darkest of hours. Place your trust in Jesus and he will protect and guide you.
"Ye, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me"
I suggest you read through the twenty-third psalm. Read through the book of Psalms, in fact, and pray constantly to the Lord who is our creator and savior. In Him you have nothing to fear.
I will pray for you.
