A wild jim_wijit appears!
Ahoy! I'm gonna write a few things about myself. I am 21 years old. I like watching television, drawing, video games, cats, milk, chess and the vast archives that are the internets (and of course anime, manga, etc. otherwise why would I be here?). Some of my favorite series include Kashimashi, Bleach, Trigun, R.O.D., Shakugan no Shana, Neon Genesis: Evangelion and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumia. I practice the ancient and deadly martial art of Ai-Ki-Do and am one test away from my brown belt. And I read like it's going out of style or something. So there you have it... way to much to read. Request permission to come aboard.

You mean what we refeer to as Aikido nowadays right? If so then part of its main traits is to protect the attacker from injury while useing 'life energy' to fight.
