Dear Father, I come to you right now on behalf of our brother and ask that you send down a shower of your peace and joy and heeling about him. I pray that his sickness is nothing serious and that the doctors will be able to find it quickly and diagnose it. Whatever it is, I rebuke in the name of Jesus Christ, you have no place in Hypershock. Lord, may your holy spirit come to dwell within Hypershock and draw him closer to you. May asianblossom be consoled in all of this as well. I pray this all in the precious, holy name of Jesus, Amen. May it be!

UPDATE: Well, he's feeling a lot better. He's fighting some sort of infection, but I kind of think it's unrelated to what was going on before. We're still waiting for an official word back, but we're glad he's feeling better and is his usual perky (and quirky) self.

Well, we're still not sure what was making him queasy and whatnot (and we should be finding out soon), and he's currently fighting off some infection (he's been coughing), but at least his stomach isn't bothering him as much. So that's good.
On another good note, he's started drinking (and liking) tea, which he used to not really like before.
