My fiance has been watching Transformers: Masterforce and I've been catching some of the episodes. It's like a cross between Transformers and super robot anime. Highly entertaining. And Optimus Prime is in it! Well...sort of.

I just took my sister's boyfriend through Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket, which is one of my favorite animes. I might watch Char's Counterattack tonight......but as far as a series goes, Rurouni Kenshin Season 3 is my next one.

Just finished the dubbed version of Haibane Renmei (on DVD this time!) yesterday. Now I'll have to redo my top 10 favorite anime list. This one definitely belongs there.

Kanon episode 7.

though the characters are starting to get rather annoying, the story is starting to develop more and i find that i am in a situation in which i am forced to pursue the series even more. hopefully the series will get better. unfortunately the series puts a little too much stress on the generic moe theme.

I just finished watching Noir. And while I often enjoy certain anime genres like romance, super robot, comedy, etc. I prefer and appreciate more serious and atmospheric anime. One can get a bit tired sometimes of overly hyper or over shouting characters. hehe

I also liked watching a show where there wasn't anyone with superpowers or mutations. Although, I guess people would say that Kirika, Mirielle and Chloe were exceptionally skilled. Especially, Kirika who is also quite clever.

Anyways, despite being a moody and hard-edged show about assassins. There is little blood or gore. Still it is a tragedy themed and mature show. So, it's not for everyone. Certainly not for younger kids. And, if someone prefers all out action then probably Noir isn't for that person.
I thought it was very good. I didn't like everything about it. But, then again I don't usually like everything about any anime, movies or live-action show.

I have to add that the musical score is outstanding. It really enhances the emotion and atmosphere of Noir very well.

Saw the first two episodes of Kino today at Gencon. Really interesting, thought-provoking anime with a pacing that reminds me of Mushishi... I should watch more. X3

(And I almost typoed "more" as "moe," which would have made that sentence completely different and completely random. XD)
