I just finished the main Hellsing series, and the beginning of the first OVA, is there really a point to watching the OVAs? Right now it looks like the same story...

Been catching up on spring season stuff. Soul Eater, Kurenai, etc... Also stuck somewhere in the middle of Age of Aquarius (the one I discovered I had bought for my DVD collection then never watched. It's not bad.) Need to find time to get back to it and finish up.

I've noticed that Escaflowne is a definite matter of taste. I love it, a number of my friends hate it.

If one takes the risk of creating one of the very few Shoujo super-robot stories in existence, one is going to get a lot of mixed reviews. But as a fan of both super-robots and Shoujo, I guess I somehow landed in the demographic.

Anyways... back on topic...
I FINALLY finished X/1999. *sob sob sob* Can I just say it was perfect? Seriously... I never expected to turn into suuuuch a Sorata fangirl. But alas, I am ruined for him. <3

I am now rewatching episodes 3-5 of Ergo Proxy (mainly for cosplay purposes). And I am currently loading up Spirited Away... yep! It's my FIRST time to watch this classic...and I'm stoked!

*high fives* XD I try to do that too! I love seeing their reaction and am like "Yes, I know. It is mind blowing isn't it."

On topic: just finished the Bleach Movie Memories of Nobody. It was fun and I really enjoyed it, even if some of it was terribly predictable and yes, it proves the existence of "fan service Bankai".

So far it's pretty good...still have to finish watching the last episode, but so far it's good.

And yeah, that's a lot of episodes, but at least the story's interesting at the moment. I mean
Luffy is fighting some guy who can control shadows, Usopp just defeated the "Ghost Princess," Sanji rescued an unconscious Nami from getting "married" to some jerk, Robin and Chopper are fighting some evil doctor and some zombies with Sanji and Zoro's shadows inside them, a huge demon-looking zombie is trudging around with Luffy's shadow inside it, and Zoro and Franky are helping Brook out by having Zoro fight the zombie swordsman that has Brook's shadow.
I wonder how this arc's going to wrap up, if anytime soon. There were definitely some moments that had me near the edge of my seat. :D

Watched World Destruction 1. The premise sounded great (a group of fantasy adventurers attempting to destroy the world), but the actual anime kind of disappoints. I was hoping for some kind of darker gung-ho sadism, not this tragic past destined hero stuff.

Might watch a few more eps, just for Miyano Mamoru.
