Life is really stressful right now.

If any of you read my other post about my family and how they are treating me...it's gotten worse. My mom thinks I do nothing (when I don't want to do anything with THEM because I'm so mad at them right now) and she says I live in a dream world where I think life is easy. No....I don't. Everytime I say something...about work...about money, my mom says "welcome to the real world. life ain't easy." I'm so sick of it. I KNOW LIFE ISN"T EASY! I just sometimes need to verbalize my frustration.

Also I'm looking for car insurance right now and getting worried that I won't be able to afford it. So I might have to start looking for a second job.

I also want to move out of the house. I'm sick of being here and being picked on all the time.

I also found out my mother emails all her friends saying stuff like "I hope Beth moves out or I'm going to kick her out" and "She always looks cheap and she never does anything."
She never says anything nice about me and now all her friends think I'm terrible!

I'm really not bad! I just am different than she is and she doesn't like it! I never fight back with them! Whenever they yell at me I just shrug or leave the room. I don't like fighting and I try to avoid it. I don't do anything bad (besides where tons of makeup and dress different...which isn't bad but they think it is). I'm trying to be a good person but it just seems I'll never be good enough for them.

And I'm stressed out about my job and trying to find a way to move out.

I don't deal with stress too well and I just need some prayer that I can calm down and be able to handle all of this.

you have my prayers and my sympathy... I am so sorry that your home life is stressful right now... I know that strife in your family can hurt like nothing else, excpet maybe strife in your marriage...? May I offer a suggestion? This is somehting that has been recommend to wives (and to a lesser degree, husbands) that are often verbal or emotionally abused... It takes a GREAT resolve and a lot of faith, but the results could very well change your outlook and your mom's attitude.

Whenever you can, thank God for your mom, pray for her and whenever possible (and it may be very difficult, depending on the circumstances) verbally praise and thank your mom for her effort in raising you... I know that your first reaction is probably indignance, because it was MY first reaction... but remember that God calls us to "honor [y]our father and mother", regardless of the situation...

No matter what you decide to do, you are in my prayers. Be strong and lean on God for strength. He won't ever let you down.

Is there any big reason your Mom would treat you so bad? Does it have to do with your parents' relationship perhaps? If not, I guess all you can do is just pray for her. I can't see anything you might do changing her behavior in how she talks to other people about you. As far as how she treats you, it might be due to the fact that you don't combat her on these frustrating issues and she takes advantage of that. Perhaps you need to defend yourself a bit more.

U have my prayers.....just wanted to offer up a quick suggestion: Pray for your parents, that there would be peace between both of you; that you guys would find a way to end all this with both sides understanding each other...
....Also, I would strongly encourage you to ask God to fill you with his love, as well as filling your parents with that love too. Seeing from what u've posted I'd say that His unconditional love will be the only thing that will solve this conflict....

Oh princess, I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. I feel your pain so much, I've had some pretty rough times with my mom, where she thinks I hate her and I feel she despises my gut. And I could never figure out what I did wrong to deserve it. I still feel like I HAVE to move out NOW so many times cuz I just can't take it any more and in my situation it's just cuz we're too different to co-exist peacefully.
