Desperation + Jobs

Postby Sakaki Onsei » Thu Feb 21, 2008 1:58 am

Well, I'm back in here again, and this time it's starting to get a little alarming.

I've almost been out of work for two months. I'm not finding jobs like I hoped, and either I have not been called back for second interviews, or I got rejected outright. Normally this wouldn't get me down, but I'm feeling like I'm losing my patience, and that means I'm falling.

I feel like I'm being an inadequate servant, by not being able to pray and be patient. I know there's a job out there, I just don't know where I'm being led. It's like I'm flying blind. And I am hurting. I don't know what to do.

Pray for me, that I can be vigilant in God's grace, and that I can be patient. It's tough, that's for certain.

I'll pray that God helps give you the patience you need in seeking a job. I'm sure that if you keep in faith, everything will work for the better.

As of right now, anything that will allow me to pay my bills.

It's been nearly 2 weeks since I sent my last set of resumes to 7 different companies. I haven't heard back from any of them so far, and 2 of the companies I called did not have people answering the phones.

So, I'm feeling thankful that I have a place to stay and food in my belly...it's not everyday that one can say that. There are people that are worse off than myself. However, I feel as though I'm really slipping behind because I cannot find a job.

I made mistakes. I graduated too early. I should not have been in such a rush. I should have been looking earlier. But, that's all shoulda woulda coulda.

Pray for me as I fight on, trying to find a job and a place that I can be happy with.

Will do and do the same for me --I need to start sending in applications in August for the same thing --jobs. So we're both in the same boat almost.

Good luck and remember that God will provide for you!

Oh, that's the other things. I have been getting pretty impatient in regards to this job issue. I know I need to be patient, but I am also looking at my bill ledger and seeing mounting amounts. X_x

Pray that I can wait on God, while beating my resume onto the internet.

So, a bit of an update and a real dire request for prayer:

I put in an app for a job with a company that stocks supplies in clean rooms for a major semiconductor outfit. I had a second interview on Thursday, and I am waiting to find out if I got accepted for the position. The problem is that I am currently close to being out of money. I barely have enough to pay for a tank of gas.

I have been falling from hope in recent days, so I decided to fast and pray today. I just need re-inforcement in finding a job or at least acquiring one.

Pray that I do not end up losing this opportunity.

I'll be praying too. I'll be out of school in a month and I don't have any idea where to work either. God will provide.

God has done the impossible.

He has helped me to find a job. I start work on Monday for a company, as an entry-level shipping clerk. Here's to hoping that God allows me to be the best employee possible.

Well, I'm gonna continue to need prayer. But yes, God has helped one of his own once again!

Now, to let God have my finances...
