How bad was it? Were other vehicles involved?
Your neck will probably hurt for the next 2-3 days... (it did for me)
The other car, Ford Mustang, needs a new bumper. My car has a bowed hood and the radiator-type thingy that makes the engine not hot is probably damaged. My engine was hotter than it normally should be when I got home and I was dripping something out of the front end of the car, water or something, not oil.
The girl I rear ended said she was fine when I asked how she was. My friend who was with me seemed fine other than she felt bad for me. I was giving her a ride to a dinner with our Bible study of all times for this to happen. I seem to be ok short of having felt a bit shaken.
I have to work on a project today, but I've been awake most of the night, just got too awake I guess. I'm getting a ride to a project meeting from a classmate who lives near me and is doing the same kind of project.
I don't know how much the repairs will cost, but I imagine I will cost more for auto insurance now. I exchanged car info, insurance info, and contact info with the other driver. I'll probably contact the insurance and an auto repair place next week, but I don't know exactly how my next steps will be other than following what my insurance and my parents say.
My main concerns here are:
Financial and legal consequences with regards to repairs and insurance.
Any possibility of unnoticed injury coming up later. I don't want to find myself sued later on for a neck injury.
When I feel blue, I start breathing again.
