My pet cat.

It seems silly, but out of my pets, this kitty is probably the closest one to me. He's been missing for 2 or 3 days, and that's unusual...I just hope he hasn't gotten hit by a car.

I currently have 3 cats and the second oldest is the one I found when we lived in Texas. We have had him for 9 - 10 years now and I don't know what I would do if I lost him. They use to be outside cats and I remember one day my dad found my kitty after he had been hit by a car. Needless to say he is perfect fine today, many years later. But you probally know how I felt when I thought we'd lost him. Hes one of the cats who loves to be outside and when he gets the chance he's out for days and even weeks. Cats have a tendancy to wander off, forget how long they've been out and then when they do remember days later start making their way back and have no idea how worries you were. I'll be praying. I know some people don't think pets are very important but to everyone who has gotten the chance to love one they mean the world.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

Indeed, I know how you feel. I've had cats and dogs as pets all my life and love them dearly. I'll pray for your cat's safe return.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. He's right at the age that male cats go off for days at a time chasing females, so that could be the case.

I'll be praying for you and your kitty. My family has several pets (birds, rabbits, fish, newts), and I'm close to most of them, so I know how you feel.

Please let keep us updated.
