Anyway...I'm watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suyuzuma--which episode 7 on the DVD's. (I still think it's a bit confusing that the shows are shown out of order and you have to collect all the DVD's to get the right order, but it's a cool idea to keep things interesting.)

Tsuku-chan you surprise me I didn't know you were into Elfen Lied.Would you recommend it?

Anyway yesterday I finished off vol.1 of Fushigi Yugi with ep.7'Going Home'.Next Sunday ep.8 and vol.2.Tonight is the regular Ani-Monday with
Macross Plus and Tokko. Then on tommorrow night is Kaleido Star ep.3.
I also started FMP:TSR last Thursday. It was one of those anime series that had a large WOW! factor to it and that was just the first few seconds of the
opening credits!
Also saw ep.30 of Wedding Peach 'Good Bye Dear Devil' on Saturday because I wasn't around on Friday to watch it.
Wednesday I rewatched episodes 22 and 23 of Shrine of the Morning Mist
subbed.
Shrine of the Morning Mist was actually directed by the director of Macross Plus so that is kinda interesting.

Angelic Layer episode 14, after missing a couple. I actually liked the explanation they gave for the game in the story; it gave things like Misaki's mother being involved in Angelic Layer a larger purpose than just random coincidence. It set the anime a bit apart from other similar ones also centred on some popular game/sport.

I started watching Haibane Renmei with my mom. She likes it! ^_^ We've gotten to Episode 5 now.

Started plowing through episodes 1-13 of the One Piece FUNimation dub. Superb so far, but my only complaint is the "choice words." So far, we've finished episode 5, and about 38-39 words have been counted. Episode 4 actually had the most, with a whopping 15 words. That was a shocker. Nothing too terrible, but I'm hoping it doesn't start doing things like taking God's name in vain, pairing it with said "choice words," or crawl into 's' and 'f' territory. Most of the other words have already been said.

But other than that, the dub is great. And there's an alternate Japanese language track option too. And don't get me started on the picture quality...I could get some great avatars from some stills off there... *could go on for a while*

I just finished watching Medabots. Great anime for younger audiences, anime quality is cute but choppy.

Currently working on Gundam X (yet again), on episode 4.

Well, I'm a little annoyed with the english V/A for Kotaro--granted, he's a talented guy, but he's a little...crisp with his talk...listen to him say a word that ends with "T" and you'll get the idea. He pronounces every word so precisely. It's not as bad in DNAngel as it is in Angelic Layer.

Haibane Renmei Episodes 6-8. Things are getting more exciting - and consequently more confusing. I remember again why I love this series.

You guys are all watching Angelic Layer? Awesome. No offense to the manga, but I think it's just better having the fight scenes choreographed. Still pictures don't exactly do this series justice.

EDIT: Also, just finished the first 13 episodes of One Piece today...and was surprised that episode #9 didn't have any language AT ALL. Or at least, nothing I would consider language. My gosh, the first part of the "We Meet Ussop" arc was rather clean in terms of language. Couple words here and there, until episode 13.

14 and up shows rarely go beyong minor cursing. Words like G-D and F-bombs I've never encountered within 14 and up animes. I know maybe once or twice they'll take the Lord's name in vain but the d-word does not follow it. Hope that takes away some apprehension! :)

Also, have you watched the movie yet?

I'll give it a listen, but I can't say I’ve noticed it. Misaki's voice is very whiny, so that gets to me occasionally. Her mother is bugging me though, I can't understand her reasons for not wanting to see her daughter and I think she's being selfish and silly. But that's just me.

*wipes brow* Whew! That's a relief. I mean, my brother was watching a Franky AMV that showed the G-D phrase in the subtitles, but since the episode is so far into the future, I can only assume that was fansubbers taking creative license. I've also noticed that fansubbers like throwing in the S word a lot as well.

And no, I haven't. Which movie is that? Number 8? My brother wants to see that one.

I never go by fansubs because they always "take liberty" with just about all the dialogue. ;)

And yeah, the #8 movie. I'm going to watch it this weekend and than write a review on it. :D I just can't wait for the second part of Season 1 to come out that and volume 18 in the manga. ^__^
