Well, considering I've already posted like, 10 times in the Goof Off section, I figure I may as well come here now ;)

Hi! I am the WoP and I shall be joining you!

Shame that posts in Goof Off don't count for anything (should be at least .5 :P)

But, anyway, welcome to the sane part of CAA

:jump: Allous and Welcomes ^^ *nod nod* I do remember seeing a few of your posts in the Goof Off. If posts in the Goof Off counted even .1 many, many more members would probally be up in the 10,000+ But I hope you enjoy your stay with us WoP.

And forget my for being a bit dense at times but is there anything WoP stands for? While typing this all of a sudden the words "Word of Power" just came to mind  So I was just wondering.
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

And two pages later, she returns! Wow, I hadn't expected to get so many replies so fast! I guess I'm used to less friendlier forums....

And yes, WoP does stand for something. It is my nickname for my comic "Warriors of Prayer". It also makes me think of the "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" ("the sound of a hundred thousand people saying 'whop' in unision") so it has stuck with me. ;) Plus I have this odd fascination with telling people "I am the WoP!"

I understand about the lack of post counts in Goof Off; another board I used to go to (actually, "live at" is more accurate) had a similar section and they disabled the post counts there because so many people posted there, and the board admins thought that the posts in that section weren't important enough to be counted.

I must admit, this is the friendliest board I've ever been to. I've been here for less than a day and I already feel at home! That means I'll definitely keep coming back.

Welcome, WoP! I love Hitchhiker's Guide! one day, in my Bible class, we were discussing Secular Humanism, and I just busted out with, "In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people angry and has been widely regarded as a bad idea." My teacher gave me the strangest look. *innocent face* I wonder why?

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

LOL; I read the entire first chapter in my drama class once as a "dramatic reading" assignment ;)

I'm really not into a whole lot of anime, but the two I am into have completely sold me on the art style. My favorite, the one that introduced me to anime, is Inuyasha, though I've been drifting away from it lately (the story is getting way too long and they need to just defeat the bad guy and win). Now Gundam Wing is taking its place at the top of my list of 2; other than that, I never found any others I was interested in. I don't have a TV, so what I can download off Kazaa and the manga that I can buy are all I have.

^^ I love names that stand for something. I really like that. Sometimes I wonder if I should change my user to bluewisp117 just because it stands for three differant things instead of just one but oh well lol. I've been meaning to read that- I really have ^^; just another book I've seen Spirit_Wolf reading. Which reminds me, how come in my Bible class nothing ever happened? Well, okay so it seems that way but hey, if Charles said it then it must be true lol. I'm glad you like it here at CAA. I know I try and do my best with being friendly and multiply that but 1000+ well needless to say yeah, you've found on the them most friendliest boards, if not the most friendilest :thumb:

Inuyasha is good - *huggles Shippou* I haven't seen much lately but I'm wiating for the new episodes. I've never cared for Gundam Wing but as of lately in the bishie thread I've sorta changed my mind a bit ^^; But it really is all good.

I keep up with the latest Inuyasha manga from Shonen Sunday, so I'm way ahead of the anime. Looks like the story's about to end too; I'm sad to see it end, but at the same time I'm very grateful. ;) There's only so long you can get away with the whole one-more-shard thing.

It took me a couple of watch-throughs to get Gundam Wing, but now that I understand what's going on, I love it. Everytime I go back and watch it again, I understand a bit more and end up liking it even better.

Hi and welcome!!! ^_^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.
