Becoming the Archetype: Terminate Damnation

Pretty darn awesome! I love "Elegy".

Also, I like how they mix jazz, blues, and classical styles into their metal.

The Weak's End is AMAZING. I love, love, love that cd, good purchase!

On the other hand, I just recently bought Anberlin's Cities. I really like "There is no Mathematics to Love and Loss" and "The Unwinding Cable Car". Good stuff.

Anberlin - Cities
Five Iron Frenzy - The End is Near/Here

Cities was a gift from Corrie, actually. And The End is Near/Here may be the first music CD I've ever bought for myself.

EDIT: Second CD.

The I Heart Revolution:With Hearts As One
Love it cause each song is played live in different cities around the world, and the versions tend to have a different feel from the original recordings. There are even some songs that were played in South America, and you can listen to the crowd singing in Spanish.
Awesome CD!(two CDs actually)

Hey! I come back to post another, and find I'm the last one who posted! Come on, guys! Support your local musician! Buy the CD, already!

Okay, hopping off my soapbox now...

Just got my hands on the original Japanese edition "Princess Mononoke" soundtrack.

I picked it up because I'm already in love with this soundtrack, and I notice the .jp release has 1 more track than my .us release. The only difference from the .us release is track 20 on the .jp release, an absolutely gorgeous counter-tenor solo titled (if my kana/kanji is right) "Mononoke-hime Vyaakaru".

(I'm not sure if that's right, because I have no idea what the devil 'vyaakaru' would mean, but I swear that's what it says. That word is in katakana, though, which would suggest it's supposed to be a foreign word, but I don't know what it is. Vehicle, perhaps, but that would be weird. 'Princess Mononoke Vehicle'?)
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
