Advice and Prayer
I wanna quit smoking, but I am not sure how to go about it without making excuses and lame remarks NEED HELP AND PRAYER PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I've heard that switching to gum works sometimes. If that doesn't work, try looking for a program that will help because quiting on "cold turkey" isn't the most easy thing to do. Ok? ^_^

I don't think it's the healthiest way either ^^ You should give your body a chance to get used to the absence of chemicals given off by cigarettes ^__^ Well, quiting cold turkey may work for some, but not always ^^ Try starting by reducing the number of cigarettes you smoke a day ^^ Make sure there's someone to help you make sure you do so ^^ That way it'll be easier ^^
Oh yeah, and think of how good it'll feel to not hacking up a lung all the time ^^ My dad was a smoker and does sometimes miss it, but he likes not hacking up a lung more ^^

Most of the people i have known who tried to quit smoking started by just cutting down at first, and getting down to smoking like 1 a day, and then they just started chewing like gum or something. so maybe you can try that. It's worked for the people i have met, maybe it will work for you too.

Footprints in the sand by Carolyn Joyce Carty
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of foot prints in the sand: one belonging to him the other to the lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the foot prints in the sand.
He noticed that name times along the path of his life there was only one set o footprints.
He also noticed that it was at the lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the lord about it:
"lord, you said once i decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But i have noticed during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of foot prints. I dont understand why when i needed you most you would leave me."
The lord replied:
"My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."
