I'm watching through a very odd series. A guy needs to get enrolled in and graduate from this one particular school because it was his grandfathers dying wish that he do so. The only problem? It's an all girls school.

I watched the first two episodes of Noir and was pretty disappointed.It has a great soundtrack,though. Thanks Yuki Kajiura :)

Trigun episodes 23-26. FINISHED!!!! That was a really good anime, but...well, the ending felt rushed. Made me want to read the manga, though.

Next on the list: Last Exile

The first few episodes may be kinda slow, but if you give it some more time, you shouldn't be disappointed.

I have to agree though, the soundtrack is quite awesome.

I don't know about that as I rather enjoyed the first two episodes of NOIR.
A nice leisurely send up to the action that follows.

On Sunday I watched Gundam Seed:The Far Away Dawn.Basically it's a compilaton movie of the Alaska and Orb story archs from mid-point in the series.Some of the seguing between scenes was a bit jumpy,but all in all I rather enjoyed it.
Yesterday I saw Yukikaze ep.3.Since this was the first time I had ever seen the series I came away rather impressed.The art work and especially the detail on the aircraft and other mechanics was rather well done and realistic.
I give it :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:
To be honest if I were a military aircraft nut I would be drooling.

Rewatched GITS:SAC ep.12 'Escape From' yesterday subbed.
Mary Elizabeth McGlynn is certainly spot on when you compare her to the original seiyuu who played the Major.

:bang::bang::bang:
I was going to watch Act 5 of Live Action Sailor Moon yesterday but every time I tried it all I got was:FILE NOT FOUND message.I tried everything I could think of to get it to work but nothing.
I even tried vol.1 and one of my Star Trek DVDs and they both worked perfectly.And no it wasn't the disc as when I put it in the DVD player in the living room it worked like a charm.
So I tried the same thing today and the same FILE NOT FOUND message popped up.Then I put in vol.5 of Wedding Peach and again the stupid machine worked perfectly.
Why is it torturing me so much with this one disc?:bang:

I used to watch Naruto, and then I stopped, because it was getting so depressing. So now, I'm kind of in between watching the anime and reading the manga for Prince of Tennis.

Although it wasn't original to the series, but taken off one of her non-soundtrack albums, my favorite Kajiura song "Indio" is used in the series (I think it may be in the last episode.) The rest of the soundtrack is top-class as well.

And I second the motion. This is a slowly building series that starts out as a basic girls-with-guns scenario with an atypically slow plot, then slowly morphs into something much more gripping. One of my all-time best anime choices, actually.

Watched Air volume 1 today. OMG most beautiful anime ever (well... out of what I've seen)! I mean the story is very nice so far (feels like a bedtime story or something) and the art and music is fantastic. I know its aimed at girls more but I dunno, I have a soft spot for animes like this still (Ah! My Goddess). But I'm so ****! I only bought the first volume cause I really didn't know anything about it so it's gonna be a while before I can finish it >.< And I was really getting into it. Did I said it was pretty to watch? Dazzling feast for the eyes and ears. This would be one anime worth getting on blu-ray if it was available.

I saw a number of episode 1's and 2's from various series at a convention last weekend. These included; Ghost Hound, Persona - Trinity Soul, Rosario + Vampire, Spice and Wolf (I think this is such a cute name!), Clannad and Rental Magica, all of which were completely new to me. We also watched the movie Appleseed Ex Machina, but the power went out half way through and then we went for lunch, so we didn’t see the end.

So, FC, how many Anime about agriculture have you seen, again?

(Moyashimon is on my list of shows to get back to, someday, after watching the first two eps. It just hit in the middle of a bunch of good new shows, and I had to make choices.)

Ghost Hound is a fascinating show. Starts slow, never speeds up, but it's one of those shows that's done best this way. Remarkably well-thought-out storyline. Of course, the end is not out yet, so they still have a chance to screw up... but I think they've shown enough skill so far that I can count on a good conclusion.

Never had the pleasure of the anime, but the manga is good, and the light novel is brilliant. I wish either that someone would translate the rest of the light novel series (the ones which Banner of the Stars is based upon) or that my Japanese would improve enough that I dare tackle a light novel.
