I've discovered that I really like the video Vic made as an apology that he couldn't come to Metrocon - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzMa29HaZAU&feature=related
XD I've been showing it to everyone who would understand it. I love how he played every person in it.

His girlfriend came to my booth and was like "Hey do you have a glue stick I can borrow? It's for Vic's Birthday present..."

So I wonder... hmmm...

But that video made me cry too!! TT^TT

He really does deserve those fans...

I'm willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that she didn't get him the D.N.Angel Complete Collection DVD set or a chibi-Ed plushie from Fullmetal Alchemist. Wait, that's wrong. Ed is ALREADY chibi...my bad.

::Hears shouting from outside:: WHO ARE YOU CALLING SMALL LIKE A BEAN?!?!

Anywho, I was driving to work the other day listening to the D.N.Angel theme song "White Night, True Light" when I had a wild idea for a music video. Myself and Vic dressed as samuari (think Kenshin Himura style) in the pouring rain standing at opposite sides of the street about a mile long. Suddenly, when the music hits it's climax, we charge at each other full blast with swords drawn. Then, towards the end of the song, our swords meet, a flash of light, then fade to black.

Cool huh?

...Actually... I only knew somewhat of Vic before we had a miniature con at my town library. My high school Anime Club was running the event, and all of the officers of the club are my best buds, so I wanted to visit and show my support for their ability in doing something so... ambitious.

I knew he voiced Ed, but I never really looked into his work otherwise. I wasn't really too excited. The fact that a giant crowd of girls were crowded around his "dressing room" (aka a room to the side where he was hiding out) didn't help any.

But you know, he ended up being really cool. He got on stage and talked to the group, was extremely patient with the younger (screeching) girls, was EXTREMELY funny (he uses words like "dude" "psych" and "Sweet" XD), and was just... really nice. I could tell he was really, really genuine.

So some of his CD's were on sale at the event, and my friend Goose and I pooled our funds and bought all three. We also waited about two hours to actually talk to him, at which point we were both far too shy to say anything besides, "Uh.... hi.................... can you sign our CD's? ...........Thanks.... oh, and a picture?"

We listened to one in Goose's car on the way back, and we were surprised to find some religious songs on there. Really good ones. o.o We googled it, and found out he was very religious.

Actually, it's kind of thanks to Vic that I began rediscovering my faith. ^^; I had been questioning for... a few years, actually, and was starting to feel... just... sad... and lost... about what I really believed in. Finding out this amazingly cool, talented guy could like anime so much and still be so faithful to God... I dunno... they just... felt so separate in my head, somehow... It was just the little push I needed, I think, to start finding my own way back to God.

So yeah... now I'm a much bigger fan, and I don't think I'll ever be able to properly express my gratitude to Vic...

Awww, that'll be cool if he could make it to the con at the college that I went to with a friend :( I spent most of the time in the karaoke room. Which was lots of fun ^^

I have only heard him as Edward Elric and nothing else.Personally I perfer
Colleen Clinkenbeard when it comes to the FMA dub cast. Then again she did also do Rachel on Case Closed.
As far as it goes..fangirling or fanboying a particuliar actor or actress is ok as long as you don't get overboard with it.

I've only just watched the video of Vic opening the present from the Resembool Rangers. Oh man, did that make me cry T_T You could hear the passion in his voice, and.... If anything were to convince me to become a Resembool Ranger myself, this would be it.

I finally got the chance to hear him sing "West Nile Mosquito" and I have to rank his voice as a solid WIN. His rendention of "White Night - True Light" (Opening Theme to D.N.Angel) rivals that of the original Japanese artist and, in some small way, slightly surpasses it!

I would also like to add to the list:

Shigeru Aoba - Neon Genesis Evangelion (Directors Cut)
Kakuhama the Lawyer - "Nerima Daikon Brothers"
Goemon Ishikawa - "Legend of the Mystical Ninja" ("Ganbare Goemon")
God of the Demons - "Shuffle!" (Irony, thy name is FUNimation )

Pretty much those are the only two characters plus Goemon that I can come up with when Vic is mentioned. :P Wow, he did a voice role in Shuffle!

Anyway, I remember reading on Wiki that the fanclub, Risembul (forgive spelling) Rangers has over 7,000 members. What EXACTLY is it?

Just that, his fan club. He's the leader. The fan club acknowledges him as a Christian. I just recently joined. Oh! that reminds me, must get stuff together for his bday gift. :) There's also a rival fan club for mustang's VA...the something miniskirts I think. They couldn't come up with a design for their logo so they asked vic to design one for them, and he did.

From what I've heard, they sometimes have special time set aside at conventions to get together with Vic, basically it's a community of his fans. Look up some vids on Youtube, that's what I ended up doing. :hits_self
