heart problems-fatal?

Postby teen4truth » Thu Feb 14, 2008 4:57 pm

I've been having issues with breathing, and I have no idea if they're fatal or not.

It started sometime last year, I believe. I didn't think of it much until my mom was like, 'were you just now sighing, or having trouble breathing?" Anyway, I had a doctor check up on Monday, and he had no idea what it was. He suggested I get a chest x-ray done. It's been flaring up horribly today. I haven't been breathing normally since morning.

I got the xray done today, and they said they'd call my doctor with the results. We haven't heard anything yet.

So anyway...the thought of dying in it's self isn't so bad. I hate it here. Besides, I want to talk to Jesus face to face so I can actually understand what he's saying without my own voice or the voices of satan or the world interfearing. I've basically concluded that this world is just wierd and I don't like it here. Like, looking at the possibility of dying-truly looking at it as a possibility-has drove home the fact that this world is not my home.

But yet I don't want to go because I haven't affected this world for Him! If I have, it certainly hasn't been enough! I understand more than ever why Paul told the Phillipians, 'to live is christ, to die is gain.' He told them he was torn between the two...being with Christ is better by far, but he new it was better for them if he stayed in the body.

So please, please pray that no matter when I get to go home, God will use me before then. There are too many unsaved people in the world for someone who is saved to not help at least one of them see the truth!

but please...don't pray that God will keep me alive for a long time to come, that isn't what I want.

^^; I think you might be over-reacting just a wee bit...

It might be something more simple than a heart problem, you aren't THAT old... so it's probably nothing too serious.

Also, sometimes when you think about breathing...it can seem harder to breath.. Not that what you have isn't a problem..but yeah, try not to think about breathing so much.

I am sure you will be fine! ^_^

I'll definately be praying for you though. And I'll be praying for GOD's will.

Advice though: ENJOY this life. You aren't put here to hate living on earth...yes we should want to be in Heaven with God. but not so much that we HATE living here. Life is a gift...and we are all here for a reason.

I really don't think you should worry too much. I don't think you have a heart problem and too, and if you did. Heart problems are not fatal as long as you take care of yourself.

I was born with a heart problem and I been here for 27 years.

So, I will pray.

I had chest pains for a long time...doctors finally figured out I have asthma...I take my inhaler and I'm fine.
I'm sure it's not something as serious as you say.

Focus on living your life --not on whether or not you're dying. Enjoy the life you have --none of us is guaranteed to be alive tomorrow. Christ died to give you life and abundant life at that.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

"Since the creation of the Internet, the Earth's rotation has been fueled, primarily, by the collective spinning of English teachers in their graves."

That's certainly a worst case scenario. Much more likely you have a mild asthma that is triggered at least in part as a response to stress. Thinking you may have some fatal condition and then you have a flare up? Yeah, stress.

Please let us know what the doctor says.

As someone who has tried killing themself mutliple multiple times, sounds to me that you feel the same way i often did and sometimes still do.

Even in the midst of begging God to take my life so I would not have to do it alone, we are his investment here. You may not want to live long due to your own problems on earth but you may not be seeing the bigger picture here. NOw i'm not saying oh you selfish and all of that nonsense, cuz i know that i begged to be rid of this earth so many times but at the same time, we have a purpose and a responsibility as Christ followers to be a light to people here. If we aren't willing to do that, then in my opinion we are telling God that he has made us in vain and we will do what we like, thankyou very much.

I have been close to death teen, to the point where i held the knife to my wrist and pressed it in to where it took only a wee bit more to let my artery get cut and die. *shakes head* whether this is your time or not, then redouble your efforts to live for the life God has given you and redouble your efforts to see those who are around you come to True Life.

*hugs i pray God will give you wisdom and peace in this matter.

God bless
I am on the forefront of battle against the demons of earth. All Praise and Glory be given to God Forever and Ever!

It could be stress, it could be allergies. People sometimes develop allergies to things they were never allergic to before. And stress has lots of physiological effects.

Anyway, I hope you get better.

I pray that GOD will give you much more life so that you will continue on your walk with Him gaining lives for His kingdom. I also pray that it is nothing serious, and that GOD will cure you and do with you as HE sees fit.
GOD BLESS YOU!!!!
