Seconded.
Pats, because I can't see the Giants pulling it off against a team of this caliber.

Apparently 25% or so of respondents so far think the Giants will win. I still think the pats are going to win, though.

If the Giants DO win, then I think this Patriots team probably won't go into the history books.

Moss and Brady have already broke a few records. They really belong in the history books win or lose. It has been an amazing year for the Pats.

Hey, wait a minute...this is Superbowl XLII? I thought it was only recently we had Superbowl XXVII...could someone explain the numbers to me? Because if it's like one Superbowl a year and goes in chronological order, then we must be getting older than we all realize. o_O

Well, I hope that its not Superbowl XXVII, because I was 12 years that year. Superbowl XXVII was played in 1993.

Super Bowl XLII, is the 42nd annual edition of the Super Bowl.

Funny, that quote is exactly the reason that I wanted them to win.

And you can pretty much guess what we were saying after they won the game...

"All hail, the New York Giants!"

"NEW YORK GIANTS!!" XD

But did anyone watch the ABC national news this evening? And the story they had on the one Giants football player who attributed his successful (and miraculous) catch at the end of the game to God? That was awesome.

Football players thanking God? Wow. What next, rappers doing it at award shows?

Sorry. I've just always found it hilarious when people that could care less about God, thank Him for a touchdown, or a music award.

What I find the most hilarious is that that guy attributes his catch to God. Do you think he does the same when he screws up?

Sorry, but I find it a bit disturbing that you're so quick to judge people like that. Though you may be right, how can you be sure? How do you know he could care less about God? Do you know him on a personal level?
How often do you thank God for the blessings in your life? How about the struggles? Do you think you're any better than him? We're all rotten sinners and we all need God. We're no better, only forgiven. Just because he's a football player doesn't mean he's not a Christian, and it sure as heck doesn't mean he can't thank God for making a good catch. We're supposed to praise God in everything, good times and bad. Don't be a hypocrite.

Okay, I'm done ranting.

Wow. Did I hit a nerve or something? I was speaking in general. So get your panties out of a knot. I could list a hundred times probably that I have seen guys thank God for a touch down, then a week later get caught yanking a gun out at a strip club or something crazy. So yeah. I do think its silly to thank God for things if you're not a Christian. If you want to take what I wrote, and put a spin on it to make yourself feel important or something...thats cool to. It was good of you to miss my point, and take it personally. That was cool.

*shrug* Okay, I get your point. No need to be so rude. I'm just saying that it's not our place to sit up on our high horse and point at people, and say they shouldn't thank God for a touchdown, even if we're just making a generalization. I'm sure God's glad to hear any words of thanks from any mouth.
