I hate to bump a thread this old, but I'm stuck. Big time.

I've been at the Frost Gate for months now! I simply can't get past the mission! I'd just like to ask anyone who's managed to do it if they've got any hints or anything, because, at this point, I'm desperate.

Well, here is the Wiki entry for The Frost Gate mission. I remember this being quite challenging as well, and it took me multiple tries with pick-up groups.

Really, the best way is to join a group of players who are relatively strong characters. Chances are you will meet a group of players who have done the mission before so you have some guidance. The henchmen's levels at this mission are too low and the AI will not stand up to the barrage of enemies at certain points.

Also, remember to not just blindly running into a group of enemies without support from your group. Pay attention to your surroundings before you make your move to attack.

Or you could ask kaji for help. That is what I usually do.

Gah, I need to play this again. It was fun, but the missions have started getting longer and I feel like I don't have time. (But I'll spend an hour on ET; I'm such a hypocrite.)

Yeah, I saw the Wiki entry, but it doesn't seem to tell you much other than "find the ballistae and defeat the enemies".

Odd as it is, I've only teamed up with other players about 4 times since I've started the game. I guess I'll have to get used to the idea, now...
