Ah, I'm behind on this. I have mixed feelings about this trailer, as I did the early one. But I'll see the movie and I anticipate it will be as good as the first.

This has actually been known (that Harvey was going to be in the movie) since the very first online ads came out, and he was actually the first new charachter that they showed, on a bumper sticker thing. The tagline was... "Do you believe in Harvey Dent?"

http://www.beadesigngroup.com/blog/archives/2007/05/do_you_believe_in_harvey_dent.php <<<a short record of the first stage of ads.

Aaron Eckhart was already on board at that point.

It should be quite good.
Some of my favorite scriptures.

Psalm91
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Hebrews 4-4
1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

James 4
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

Revelation 22:14
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Yeah, although he died after they finished filming, so I guess the movie is still going to come out or something.

Really sad though. D:

I just heard about it. Not many celebrity deaths shock or sadden me, but I guess with all the hype surrounding TDK...Wow.

He was the last actor I'd have expected to die like this. At least now. So much talent, too.

I see some of you already heard the news. Heath Ledger dies at 28 and right now reports state that signs are pointing to suicide by drug overdose (sleeping pills) though that has not yet been confirmed.

There are more details at news sites like CNN.com and such.

wow, that is a big surprise to hear that he died. (Joining the conversation way late). But I am very excited about the movie. I wonder if they'll push back the release date because of the death though? You know, for morning purposes or something like that? I hope not... but I don't want to sound insensitive.

Oh well. I'm still looking forward to seeing it.

Broke-My-Back Mountain? He was in that, eh? I don't keep up with actor's/actress's names, much less what movies they star in. And the ones I do know or remember are very few in number. Oh well.

I have recently read that he had pneumonia at the time of death. He had a lot of talent, and this is a sad event for movie goers.

Found a link that seems to verify the claim, at least as best as it can be verified for the moment.

I want to see this movie quite badly. I looks to be cool. I think Christian Bale plays an awesome batman, and Michael Caine is a very cool Alfred.

As far as Heath Ledger, I am sorry to hear he died so young, I was personally not a fan, but his death at such a young age is sad. I am not all that much younger then he was...

First, lemme say I am shocked at the loss of such a young promising actor. I hope that when people watch TDK, they judge his performance on nothing but what he did. I fear people will either love or hate the movie because he died. Ala what happened with The Crow. Everything I had seen, looked like Heath had really done an amazing job doing the Joker. Such a loss. However, I would ask that everyone take further discussion of his death to this thread.

http://www.christiananime.net/showthread.php?p=1193915#post1193915

Let's leave this thread for discussion of the movie itself.

NO, uhuh, wrong!

While I am not a large fan of Mr. Bale, just his movies, and I find him somewhat the same in all the movies I've seen him in, he brings us a human Batman/Wayne combination that Mr. Clooney could never achieve.

I regretfully have to say that... uh... whatsisname... Beetle Juice's Batman was the closest thing we've ever had to a human batman, when compared to Mr. Bale's.

Of course there is Adam West, erm... or not.
