Soulfest 'o8

I know it's early to start this thread, but I was just curious to see if anyone here was going to SoulFest this year.

Why do I care so much?

There's a SLIGHT chance my band's gonna play there.

Well, there's a huge chance my band's playing there.
There's a SLIGHT chance it will be at the Inside Out stage.

If it is at Inside Out it will be at like 9 in the morning. XD

A blue, black shade of love.

Sent from above.

My hands are tied to worlds
alone,
And this I know.
Your breath's like wine,
And just like clouds, my skin crawls.
It's so divine, the sky it glows with fields of light.
Did you know that I love you?
Come and lay with me.
I love you.
And all this day, I will love you.
You make me feel alive,
and I'll love you
Until the end of time.

Thats a few of my Flyleaf shots. (took a slew of good video I may put on youtube as well)

That was from riding the skilift up and down the mountain. (amazing story about that lift, second day of the festival a 6 year old boy slipped through the bars and was hanging from it. Some areas of the lift were only 20 or 30 feet up, but most areas are more like 50 or more over rocky ground. Somehow, a bunch of people got together and got a cover and did a fireman drop where you catch someone with a sheet or whatnot. I guess the kid was fine. But man, that could have been awful)

Those are a few of my many Flatfoot 56 pics. (I just got in today, I may end up hosting more if I find better pics)

The amazing Kevin Max. Who gave respect to both Larry Norman, and Rich Mullins. He also covered the Johnny Cash song "Gods Gonna Cut You Down" I ended up missing Skillet and Disciple because of the kids I was chaperoning. We had a major crybaby group this year. Little rain turned there worlds upside down lol. We ended up leaving early, missing the last 2 big rock shows. But Flyleaf really put on an amazing show.

Annnd lastly Spoken.

And yes Jamie, The Chariot was ok. Vocals still need a lot of work though.

*sigh* Due to money and work issues, I couldn't make it this year. Made me want to weep, knowing I was missing a Flatfoot show. I was looking forward to being lawndarted through a wall of doom again...

Don't worry Steve, Disciple was maybe half-an-hour, but skillet...I won't go into detail, but it was like a true concert more than a souolfest show.

i am still bumbed inhale exhale got rained out
if i could only find a sense of purity
through all of this insanity
mabey i could find my way out
of what i drown in all the time

if i could only find a sense of purity
in anything i hold dear
mabey i could fly like a bird
and forget all of your words
that pierced my heart
when you pulled me in to push me out
