Recap:
The Vylyte children, Nicholas, Kylie, Victor, Aaron and Kyra, had stayed up all night, decorating their villa for their father's birthday. Their father, Kenneth, was on his late night run while this was happening. At dawn, Nicholas called in for a systems check with his siblings, making sure everything was set. With the conformations, Nick set loose an RC chopper with the invitation to the party and guided to their father, who promptly came back to the Villa.
Jim Staine and Cora Lombardi, two new police officers, rant back and forth about how the jobs they are assigned should be beneath them.
Anna Albright, an aspiring journalist, finds the articles she covers to be boring and not worth making, rather she wishes to cover hard hitting articles, such as the notorious Vylytes.
Benjamin Park and Tyler Hall, childhood friends, are working on a school project at Tyler's estate. Ben, getting bored with the product, takes out the gun powder in a firework and ignites it, setting Tyler into a frenzy about staining the house. Ben reveals his plans of wanting to design his own line of explosives and Tyler proposes that they play some video games to take a break from the homework.
Grey Shallot and Ashlin Lee, college sweethearts, make plans for their date tonight while Ashlin gets ready for her final class of the day.
Kenneth Vylyte reaches the villa to find the decorations in the main room and all of his children gathered to wish him a happy birthday. Victor begins to play his violin while the younger children hug their father, giving him personal best wishes. Nicholas hands a mysterious gift to his father, telling him to wait until night time to open it while Kyra gives her father a toy car she made, saying she wishes to be a mechanic. They Vylytes then begin to eat breakfast, which Aarong had made.
FKA Mythmaster
Why must we be abandoned in times of need?
Do others not see when we yearn for their touch;
An insatiable hunger only they can feed.
Left alone with out their words – fallen into darkness.
Stumbling blindly without their light,
We fall and scream, knowing we've faced too much,
Knowing the only answer is flight.
Flight from the lives we once faced
And the joys and terrors others have brought.
Our time with them, a time of joy and life,
Wonder we all, was it for naught?
