A Prayer For The Revived!

Postby Sakaki Onsei » Mon Dec 10, 2007 2:54 am

I want to thank everyone here for being supportive of me during some times when I got hit really hard by events and ... other things.

God's been working on my heart quite a bit lately. He's been doing some exceptional things in my life, though in some ways I couldn't see them. But the last two nights have been nights of revival.

I have been watching Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, and as a result, it got me thinking about all things involving God. I especially has some issues in my life that needed sorting out, since I'm in waiting for my notice of graduation from the University. There were issues of lust in my heart, issues of loneliness in the desire of being a husband, issues of worry over finances and health, and a lot more.

I spent a good amount of time last night in prayer with God. And that was when I gave my desire of being a husband over to him. The first time I was ever able to take that step. During the night, I had awoken with a major lump in my throat...a pressure that was needing to escape. For a few minutes, there were dry heaves...like I was throwing up, but nothing was coming out.

Tonight, I went to my bedside and knelt. I talked with God again, with some courage in my heart, and I asked him to do what he needed with me. The last time I truly prayed about that was just over 11 years ago, in asking Christ to come into my heart.

My eyes are clear. The sounds around me are like that of crystal. I have a joy in my heart that is leaping and bounding.

My prayer tonight, for all of those who pray, to be able to pray for those who are being revived in spirit. Who are seeing God as the loving father that he is. Who are seeing Christ as the one on the cross who died so that they may live.

And, I ask for all of you to pray for strength, that God can continue to sustain me.

Dekimashita.

No need for the companion part. That's being taken care of already. ^_-

The strength is all that is needed. :)
