Need Your Help..This Time For Video Games Buying

Postby CAAOutkast » Sat Dec 08, 2007 7:04 am

I need your help. I'm searching for some Nintendo DS games for myself and I can't decide on which games to get. As Christians,I want you to recommend some NDS games for me.

Thanks

Awesomeness. Let's see...if you like mystery games, I'd recommend Trace Memory (if you can find it...it's pretty old and kind of short but fantastic) and Hotel Dusk: Room 215 (if you don't mind some mild language...mild in terms of quality, that is...I'm working on a review for both games).

If you like RPGs, then I'd recommend Animal Crossing: Wild World and either Pokemon Diamond or Pearl (the only difference is that you'll be able to find certain pokemon you can't get in the other game unless you trade). Yeah, both of these games may be cutesy, but they're fun.

If you like Sonic GBA-style games, then I'd recommend Sonic Rush. I haven't played Sonic Rush Adventure yet, since it's my brother's game, but I'll get around to it soon.

And if you just want something fun, fast paced (which I have a review pending for), and not too much involved, I'd recommend Cooking Mama. Basically, it's just cooking...but it's fun if you need a time-killer, and with 76 recipes in total, that's quite a bit of unlocking you have to do.

Hope this helps!

(I second, third, and fourth Trace Memory. Just know it involves a [good] ghost.)

(I'm afraid I don't really have any DS games, so I can't help you aside from Trace Memory.)

First, I highly, HIGHLY recommend you pick up either Elite Beat Agents, or one (or both) of the Ouendan games. They're absolutely brilliant and fantastically fun.

I recommend Kirby's Canvas Curse. Yeah, it's a Kirby game, but it's not quite as simple or easy as other Kirby games, and it makes good use of the DS's capabilities.

Mario Kart Double Dash is also really good, if you're into racing games (and even if you're not Mario Kart is still rad XD).

Those are the best DS games I own that I recommend, I'm sure there's other good ones out there that I haven't played like Trauma Center or Phoenix Wright.

I second absolutely everything Nate just said. If you own a DS and don't own those games, SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOU.

And Meteos. One of the most addictive puzzle games I've played since Tetris.

I think you mean Mario Kart DS...Double Dash!! is for the GameCube.

Either way, both games are awesome.

Yeah, Id say Trace Memory, Hotel Dusk: Room 215, and ALL three Phoenix Wright games(AA, JFA, and T&T) are my favorite games on the DS.

Id suggest these are worth getting.

Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime is also a lot of fun.

@ Etoh- Im waiting for Dragon Quest IX to come out. That game is going to be awesome, remember the joy you got from the endless hours of traveling from different continents to figure out you needed to be about 20 levels higher than your current level just to survive, Petridge farm remembers. (Sorry just a play off of something that happened on Futurama one time.)

VIII was my first entry in to the series, but I fell head over heels so I'm eagerly awaiting IX...

Yeah, VIII was also my first game of the series as well. I had loads of fun with it, RPGs are just the best.(In my opinion of course.)

Flash Focus
Sonic Rush
Brain Age 1
Brain Age 2
Jam Session
Club House Games
Big Brain Acadamy
My Sims

BTW,whats the nameof that DS game where you can draw and animate a character and then play it?

Drawn to Life...

I'd like to give it more of a chance. It is a lot slower than I expected, and I didn't get far at E4all...

Awesome! Sonic Rush is great. :thumb:

What I think is cool about MySims is that two of the voice actors from Teen Titans are in it, although I'm not sure if that applies to the DS version...it might, but I don't know because I've only seen Wii footage.
