Dental procedure

Postby beau99 » Thu Nov 29, 2007 1:24 pm

It was a few hours ago.

Went off without any problems, and I literally didn't feel it :)

Now here's to hoping I recover quick.

Yep, those drugs are good. Take it easy...Glad everything went well!
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

You'll be all right, beau. I had oral surgery almost 3 years ago. I was fine before the week was up. Just remember to save the painkiller for when you REALLY need it and not overwork your jaw muscles.

You're telling me! They injected me with ketamine and a few other things.

No wonder ketamine is abused by people. The effects are awesome.

I hate to double-post, but I have a small update.

The bleeding has stopped for the most part, but it's still oozing. I'm told that this is normal.

I'm also not in any pain whatsoever.

There was some oozing when I got my wisdom teeth out...I know this wasn't that kind of surgery, but it was oral surgery nonetheless.

And I'm sure you could find out anything you wanted to know about this by googling it. ;)

Glad things went smoothly. :)
